James's grip tightend on her. "You're sure you wouldn't rather be a nurse or an instructor?"

Artemis scoffed, "Positive." She held back a wince at his grip. "I want to be with you... I need someone to train me, so I can graduate by the end of the month... "

James stiffend. "You can be with me anywhere else...you're usually asleep when I slip out..."

"No....I'm not. I'm doing this James. Whether or not you like it." She slipped out of his hold and made her way down the tree, determination filling her. She'd just have Gabriel train her then.

James crouched on the limb, then jumped. He landed in a crouch and waited at the bottom for her. His jaw tightend. "I'll train you on one condition."

Artemis eyed him "what?"

James stayed stiff. "If you'll listen to everything me and Gabriel tell you to do. I can't have you do somthing reckless and get yourself killed." He pulled her close to him.

Artemis stiffened back "I'll listen to gabriel," she consented, allowing him to hold her

His hold tightend. "You'll listen to us both. Please Artemis. For me just this once listen."

Artemis winced, his hold a tad too tight. "No. You aren't exactly... rational, when it comes to me. I will listen to Gabriel, no matter what. Will you train me, or not?"

James growled. He'd just have to talk to Gabriel about that. "Yes." He released her.

"Thank you," she sighed, unconsciously rubbing her arm. "I love you.. I hope you know that.."

James sighed and nodded. "I love you to." His fingers went to the scar on his neck and his eyes darted around. He shook off the odd nervous feeling. "Let's go to our cave shall we?"

Artemis dipped her chin, "Okay." She slipped her hand into his and set off down the familiar path.

James finnaly relaxed as he heard the water fall. This was his safe place, their safe place. He dove into the water and resurfaced inside their cave. He slipped up onto the cave floor.

Artemis grinned and followed him through, swiping the hair from her face as she resurfaced.

James laid on the cool floor and looked up at the cave's cieling. "I miss this place."

Artemis crawled in next to him, stealing his warmth, "Me too... I still say we should live here.."

James chuckled. "Some day. I promise."

*whines* I got to go. Will you tell everyone at Moonlight I promise I'll be on in the morning? Good night Ella!

Artemis snuggled across his chest, slipping her arm under the shirt and tracing the comforting planes

James held her close and closed his eyes and listend to the sound of the waterfall. He'd always loved the sound of water, and storms were another that easily put him to sleep. He lightly stroked her back.

artemis began to purred softly, yawning into his chest

James held her closer and lightly kissed down her jaw and on down her throat. "I love you."

Artemis grinned "I know. so you'll train me?"

James groaned. "Is there nothing I can do to get you to get rid of the idea? I'll do anything!"
