Grace turned and gave him a soft kiss, taking his hand. "But I want to choose someone you could stand looking at everyday, a body that you wouldn't mind waking up next to."

"I will be happy with whatever you choose." Brendon said, giving her hand a squeeze. "I'm in love with you, not your body."

Mark set eggs infront of her, and sat down with a banana for himself.

Artemis raised an eyebrow. how come she got the bigger breakfast? She scowled and started eating it slowly, spitting it out into a napkin whenever he wasn't looking

Grace squeezed back with a pleased smile. "Then I want that one." She told him softly, still a little frightened by the prospect of being seen by everyone again, not just the special people.

Taylow= Meltdown

Mark wasn't really paying attention. His mind was elsewhere, and he didn't eat his banana because of it.

Brendon nodded and looked down at the girl. Her soul was gone, her body pale and pretty well lifeless except for the small heartbeat. "Lay down." He told Grace quietly.

Grace nodded slowly and laid down in the body, fear made her trembled slightly as she focused on controlling her emotions so she would stay solid and in the body. This was it.

Artemis grinned, secretly pleased with herself. the plate was empty but she hadn't swallowed one bite. ha. take that. She picked up her plate and rinsed it off, destroying any evidence of her crime as well before approaching mark "what's wrong?" she kissed his forehead

(I just spent two hours on that math project and I lost all of it and it was due by midnight. I sent an email to my teacher telling him what happened, I hope he understands, but my excel spread sheet locked up making it so I couldn't save it *cries* 2 frigin hours and all my stats data is gone!)


"Huh? Oh, nothing. Just thinking." Mark said as he set the uneaten banana down on a napkin.

Brendon put his hands to the temples of the body, his glowing a light blue as he set about welding her to the body.

Artemis nudged the banana "hypocrite"

Grace felt the weld as he began and shivered, it felt strange, almost like being trapped. But in a good way.

(That's awful! *cries with you and also hugs*))

Oh my gaia I feel like a total mess right now *dies*

Brendon went over the weld four or five times before he pulled his hands away, struggling to keep from passing out. It took a lot of energy to do that sort of thing.

Mark glanced at her. "Not really. I told you I wouldn't eat if you didn't eat."

Artemis laughed "what are you talking about, I just ate." she pushed the banana to him "whatcha thinking about?"

"No you didn't. You spit it all into a napkin and threw it away. I saw you." Mark muttered and pushed the banana away. He ran a hand through his hair and shook his head. "Nothing. Just..just stuff. The Gate, Alice, Jack."

*pats back*

Grace sat still for awhile, trying to remember exactly how to really move. Raising her hand before her face she gasped, it was solid, not see through in the least. She looked to Brendon awed, then frowned as she got a good look at him. "You okay?"

oh well, at least he wasn't forcing her to eat more.

Mark shook his head. "Not much to talk about I just...worry." He sighed and lifted her hand to his, kissing it gently.

Brendon leaned against the wall and nodded. "Just a little drained."

Grace thought for a moment, then pulled herself up slowly and tucking an arm around his shoulders. "Lean on me. " she commanded and began leading him to the car. "Thank-you so much Brendon she said quietly, still in shock that it worked.

Artemis frowned "you do that too much. think, I mean"

Mark glanced up at her. "I do?" He asked curiously.

Brendon smiled as they made it to the car. He made his way to the driver's side and unlocked it, getting in and leaning over, unlocking her door. "Now you can start your resturant."

Artemis sighed and dipped her chin "you do"

Mark gave a small smile as he watched her. "Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"

Grace grinned and scrambled in, sitting herself next to him. "Yes I can." She said softly, amazed at the prospect. Then leaned over and kissed him
"Thank-you."

Artemis frowned "with you- bad" she studied his face "it's like you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders"

Mark watched her and gave a small smile. "Don't I?"

Brendon smiled and kissed her back happily. "You're welcome Grace."
