Till Death Do Us Part..

Alice managed to shut the door and lock it with her foot, that way when the plane landed they wouldn't be walked in on. She clung to him, enjoying every minute with him. She liked it best when he was sober. That was definately going to be her new rule.

Mark sighed and looked down at her, kissing her head gently. "Are you alright? He didn't hurt you, did he?" His voice was soft, quiet.

The plan landed and james finally slowed, staying in her as he tried to catch his ragged breath, kissing down her neck.

Artemis shook her head, furrowing deeper into his chest "no. he was your mentor?" she mumbled through the clothing

Mark sighed and gave a small nod. "Yes, he was. Once upon a time."

Alice clung to him, her breathing just as ragged. She tightened her legs around him so he couldn't pull away, rocking her hips gently, each movement moving him deeper, taking away her breath.

"this must be hard for you' artemis noted

James moaned quietly at the motion, kissing up to her mouth "the pills?"

"When we get off the plane and on the road." Alice kissed him back, continuing with the rocking, not wanting him to leave her. Especially for the drugs.

Mark sighed and gave a small nod. "Ya. A little." He murmered. More like alot...but he didn't say anything. He just kept trying to figure out how it had happened. How he had survived.

James scowled and refused to move, forcing her to do the work. he wanted his drugs

"you alright?" she look up at him

Alice continued until she had gotten him as deep as she possibly could, practically choking on pleasure and him, and left him there, her legs tight around him. She let her fingers dance across his skin as she kissed him, her hands travling to his waist line, brushing back and for across it.

"Ya, ya I'm fine." Mark murmered, his eyes starting to gain that tortured, distant look. "should we go?"

Artemis kissed his nose and nodded "that might be wise"

James let himself feel and react to the pleasure, but refused to give in and return it. he wanted his drugs

"Should we get Grace and Brendon?" Mark glanced at her, really not wanting to be the one to go up there.

Alice sat them up so he was sitting back on his heels, keeping their bodied connected the whole time. She gave him one last kiss, slow and intoxicating as she moved her hips a few times, then pulled away and left him in the bathroom, pulling her clothes on as she went.

And the pain of living came rushing back forward to meet him. he hated her for it. hated her for the fact that she made it impossible to breath, impossible to feel relatively okay, with out the aids of sex or the drugs.
He stayed where he was for a moment, staring at the floor, until finally sitting up and pulling on his clothes and following after her like the dependent puppy he was. the bitch.

Artemis crinkled her nose. "how many private planes do you have exactly?"

"Three," Mark said as he looked at her.

Alice forced back tears as she left the plane, walking across the run way to the little red BMW convertible that was parked and waiting for her. She liked fast, fancy cars.

Artemis nodded, "then I think you should make use of them"

James slid into the car and started rummaging around, opening compartments and going through papers "nice car" he commented

"Thanks," Alice murmered as she pulled out of the airport, lifting up the consol and exposing the drugs. She knew that was what he was looking for.

Mark nodded. "Right then." He grabbed a shirt and pulled it on, then took her hand and walked her out to his Bugatti, helping her in, then going to his side and climbing in, starting the car.

Jame's eyes lit up, she knew him well. He grabbed a bottle and took a handful before shifting around and finding a drug he knew it mixed horribly with, and took it as well. "you don't happen to have any alcohol in here, do you?" he looked up at her.

Artemis watched the house disappear from view "bye horsies" she whispered

A smile pulled at Mark's lips. "There are horses in Italy, too." They sped down the road, swerving in and out of cars easily.

"No." Alice said and sighed. "We'll have to stay over night at a hotel. This is only Rome." she murmered, wondering why she was even bothering to tell him. It's not like he would remember. She felt like the life had been sucked from her. Any happyness she had once thought she known was now gone. At least he was with her...somewhat..

"Rome, huh" he laid his head back, smiling as he felt the drugs kick in. this mix would be particualy potent. he couldn't wait

Artemis turned to him, light filling her eyes "really?"

Mark nodded and chuckled. "Yes, I have a small horse ranch in Spinea. There aren't more than a few horses there, but there's still horses."

"Yes, it'll probably take two to three days." Alice murmered, her frosty eyes not leaving the empty road. "Can I ask what happened to you?"

James stiffened, clenching his jaw "no"

Artemis practically bounced in her seat "yay"

Alice didn't say anything the rest of the journy, she just let the tense silence fill the space between them. By night time she had pulled into a nice hotel and gotten them two rooms that connected. She got the hotel bell boy to get the bags from the trunk of the car, and letting the other take the car to park it. She followed the bell boy quietly, still not willing to break the silence.

Mark chuckled as they reached the airport. He grabbed their bags and went to the plane. Security wasn't necessary for them. Alice had only used it to keep him sober for a while.

James followed the two, his eyes blood shot and distant. he was too out of it to notice her anger or the tension. he was free from the memories. that was all he cared about.

Artemis stepped into the plane, looking around in awe. "wow. this is.. wow. do you always travel like this?"

"Only when I'm going over seas." Mark smiled as he gave the bags to the tendant to be put in the under carriage, keeping out their passenger bags and stashing them in the compartments above.

Alice tipped the bellboy as they stopped outside the rooms, getting the keys from him. She sighed and opened the door for James, taking one of the bags that had been brought up and setting it on the bed. "This is your room." She said, setting the key on the coffee table before leaving the room.

James looked around, swaying slightly "drugs?" he demanded

Artemis nodded dumbly, plopping down into one of the leather chairs. "wow" she repeated, reclining back

Mark smiled and sat down, the seat belt lights coming on as the plane started up and began to move down the runway.

"Bag." Alice murmered, shutting the door behind her. There were clothes in the bag for him too, the drugs being the lesser part of what was in there. She took her own bags into her room, shutting the door behind her. She then crawled into the shower, not wanting to leave the warm confines of the water.

James stumbled to the bag, barely swallowing a handful of pills before passing out

Artemis stared out the window in awe, she had never been on a plane before, she found this all fascinating

It didn't take long and they were in the air. Mark leaned back in his chair and smiled. "Now we just relax. It's a fourteen hour flight." He let his eyes close, his hands moving behind his head.

Alice managed to get herself out of the shower and dressed in a night gown, crawling into the bed. She stared at the wall for a long time, waiting for sleep to consume her.
