The Sick Day

Jake
"I'm not sure...I hope not..." I looked at Alyson worriedly.

Alyson
I gasped. "YOU HAVE A PRETTY NOSE!" I reached outto touch it but my hand passed through it. "YOU'RE SO FLOWERY!!" I giggled and looked at all three of the people. They seemed kind of famili- OH LOOK A FLY!

Andrew looked puzzled, she didn't seem to reconize him....at all. He turned to look at Jake, "This ain't good."

Tommy frowned, "I'll go see if the-"

Dr. Helena walked in, holding a clipboard and pen and scribbling what looked like to be notes down. She looked to be in her early thirties, her blonde hair pulled in tight bun. "All right, Alyson. What seems to be the case here?" she asked, turning to Jake.

Jake
"She's gone insane..." I answered without thinking. I shook my head and gave her the full explanation. "Alyson and me are sorcerer's, we have too much power, so the more we use, the more crazy we get. I'm not as powerful because only my...father was a sorcerer." I kind of paused at the word father, hating the taste of it in my mouth, but continued. "Both of her parents were, so she is twice as powerful, twice as crazy, and she used too much power. So...this happened." I looked at her giggling at Andrew's nose.

Dr. Helena nodded, walking over to Alyson and examining her. "It's a serious case but it could be treatable, we may need you to do some tests. Our author's have given us the state of the art equipment, now, as for these two...who seem to have problems of their own...only family are allowed...are they?" She asked, looking at Jake.

Jake
"Er...well...none of us are family....i'm er...well our souls are...." I tried to figure outhow to explain it. "Connected...? But...we aren't related...um..." Alyson interrupted me.

"TESTS? THOSE SOUND LIKE NOSES. I LIKE HIS NOSE!" She said, pointing to Andrew.

Dr. Helena nodded at Jake, understanding. "That's why you can stay...as for these two...since they have no connection must leave." She said, pointing to the two ghosts.

Tommy protested, "I ain't leavin'! Ya can't make us leave!"

Jake
"Er...they don't have to leave...do they?" I really didn't want to be alone during this. And Alyson was...yeah...

"NO! I WANT THE NOSE!" Alyson yelled out.

Andrew looked at her, "See...it could 'elp...we'll stay outta yer way, we swear."

Tommy nodded in agreement, edging closer to Alyson's side. Doctor Helena gave a sigh and nodded, "All right, but you too must stay out of the way." She turned to Jake, "As for you, we'll need a sample of your blood."

Jake
"My blood?" I remembered the time I was trapped by the Council, being experimented on by those scientists. They took alot of blood....too much...but...she wouldn't try to kill me...right? "O-Okay..." I said.

"Don't worry," Doctor Helena said, "it's since you're her bond. We need to compare the blood with your's. Hopefully, we'll be able to fix her soon. I bet these two can keep an eye on her."

Jake
"Um...okay..." I said, looking at Andrew and Tommy. "Take care of her." I said, taking a last glance at Alyson in her crazy state and went to get to blood taken out of me.

Andrew and Tommy hovered on either side of Alyson.

"Are you okay?" Andrew asked.

"Can she even understand?"

"I dunno...she's gone mad."

"She was pointing at our noses earlier..."

"Yeah...apparently she likes mine."

Alyson
I smiled and played with the butterfly in the air. So pretty...

"Nosey. Nooooooooosey. Hehe."

Tommison and Nosey looked at me and talked. I waved to them and laughed. What great ghostys.... And the boy who left was nice to. But he seemed so worried and got weird when I talked to him. I wonder why.... This room is so bright! All the lights blending together and-

Where am I? Where did Jake go? Why am I in this bed? What happened to my-

Oh...the lights...so colorful....almost like giant, swirling, waters in-

I need to get out of here. I need to warn Jake. Where did he go? I need to warn him about-

Look at the lights, dear. The voice said. And I did.

Andrew frowned at Alyson, waving his hand at her to get her attention. "/Andrew/, not nosey," he sighed.

"Hehe...Nosey..."

"Shuddup," Andrew groaned, wacking tommy's arm.

Alyson
I tried to catch his hand, "Noooo, your moving too faaaaaast...hehe.... Hey Nosey, do you know where-" I stopped mid-sentence and thoughts came rushing back to me. No...I need to warn him...

My eyes searched around frantically as I sat upright. "Where is he?" I asked, fear creeping into my voice. "WHERE IS HE?"

"Aaanndd she's back." Tommy said.

Andrew gently put his hands near her shoulders. "Jake? He went to get blood work done. They're trying to fix you."

Alyson
"No...he doesn't know! He trusts her! He can't trust her! I have to tell him!" I said, practically in hysterics. I got up from the bed, only to fall down. I was dizzy...so dizzy...and my thoughts were jumbled.

No...go back to sleep, dear...

"NO!" I shouted out loud. The voice, it was always the voice that made me like this.

It can all be over...no more pain...you just have to let me-

I put up a mind block and pushed her out. I couldn't focus on her, I needed to warn Jake.

"Woah! Slow down!" Andrew said, pushing over a wheel chair and making Alyson sit. He pushed her out into the hall, "DOCTOR HELENA!! SHE'S BACK!!!!!"

Doctor helena came out from the lab, "Alyson?!"

Tommy appeared near the group.

"Why would you two take her out of bed?!"


"We didn't! Sh got up 'erself!" Tommy explained.

Alyson
"NO!" I shouted, jumping out of the chair and to the doctor. "Where is he?" I asked. I looked around but didn't see him. "JAKE! JAKE!" I shouted out, but fell to my knees again, dizzy. "J-Jake!"

Dr. Helena grabbed Alyson, forcing her in the chair and wheeled her to where Jake was, lying on a table. "He just had blood work done so he might be groggy."

Alyson
I got up out of the chair and took a good look at Jake. He looked tired, but fine. "Jake!" I said and he looked at me strangely.

"Aly...what are you doing in here?"

"NO TIME FOR THAT! We can't trust her! She's evil!"

"Who?" He asked, in an almost annoyed tone.

"The-" I began, but paused. Something wasn't right.

I couldn't feel Jake's mind.

"What is it, Aly?" He asked curiously. I blinked. Why couldn't I sense him?

Andrew rushed in after the doctor and Tommy. Tommy and Andrew then procceeded to try and hug Aly, passing through but not caring.

"You're back!!!" They shouted.

Doctor Helena looked at Jake and Alyson curiously. "Boys, let Aly say what's wrong."

Alyson

What...why...

"Jake...why can't I hear you?" I asked. He looked at me strangely.

"What do you-" He stopped then, realizing what I meant. "What the hell..." He got up from where he was sitting and came over, though he seemed dizzy, and took my shoulders. He looked straight into my eyes and shook his head in disbelief.

"I can't hear you...." He whispered. I could tell from years of our minds being connected he was working this out in his mind. "What were you going to say earlier?" He asked, still studying me.

"Oh!" I shouted, barely now remembering. My voice turned frantic, "We can't trust-" Something stopped me from going on.

Oh the pretty lights.

No. Nonononono...I couldn't go crazy again, no!

"Jake...." I said, a tear falling down my cheek.

"Alyson? What's wrong?" He asked. I suddenly felt lightheaded, and fell back. I felt Jake's arms catch me as I fell.

"Aly!" I heard, not knowing who's voice it was.

Littra...Littra was doing this...she was taking my energy.

Everything went black.

Doctor Helena saw Aly fall and imediatly gave orders to the nurses and other Doctors. "Get her on a gurney! And check her vitals!" She shouted.

Andrew and Tommy flew over to Alyson, frantic and panicked.

Tommy froze for a moment, "I can fix this!!! Doctor Helena! You and Jake need to talk to Alyson? Right?"

"A little hard to do that now, Tommy!"

Tommy shook his head and let his hands passs through Alyson's body, making sure to take control. With her being passed out it would be easy, he shoved Alyson's soul out and fell into unconsiousness. (If this is okay?)

Littra stood in the hallway outside of the door. No one seemed to notice her as they frantically tried to help Alyson. She was angry at the little ghost boy. She needed to suck the energy out of Alyson, not him! If Aribella was here, maybe she could help her take care of the ghost, but she wasn't. Eve was in the room, invisible and trying to keep the mind block on Jake. Jade stood nearby in case they needed to attack. Littra stood there, trying to figure out what to do.

Alyson

I opened my eyes, I was standing. Jake looked at me with wide eyes and gasped. I looked down; I was...transparent. WHAT THE HECK?!

"What....what happened to me?"
