Tara: The thought almost made me gag. I swallowed. "Oh. Well those bodies were the nastiest thing I've seen. I'm not much of a horror movie person, so I haven't even seen something like that on screen."

Aiden: "Yeah, it really freaked me out. Had nightmares about it for weeks. I was 10 at the time."

MESSED UP. Hysterical, but MESSED. UP.

Tara: "Ten? Wow. Where were you when it happened? Not at a surfing competition, I'm thinking." I smiled a very small smile.

Aiden: "Actually, it wasn't at a surfing competition. My mom sent me out to grab something from the corner store down the road from my house. The guy was mugging another dude in an alley, and I wanted to step in, but the mugger got the other guy on the ground, sat him up, grabbed his neck, gauged the eye out, and stuffed it in his mouth. Ran all the way home, and told my mom that they were out of what she wanted and told her I was out of breath because I was racing cars." I laughed.

Tara: I couldn't laugh, the story gave me little shivers. Why would you eat someone's eye. That would taste bad and is just plain gross. I gulped then looked up at Aiden, making eye contact, because I was serious. "I'm sorry, that must have been horrible." I had a feeling he was only laughing it off because it had been traumatic.

Aiden: "As long as it wasn't my eye, I'm completely fine with it. I just have the video/memory replay thingy stuck in my head."

Tara: I nodded. "I know what you mean. I have a photographic memory, so I can remember every moment of my life like a movie." Even the moments I'd rather forget.

Aiden: "Yeah." I laughed.

Tara: We came to the other door. I had grabbed the set of keys from the security guard again before we left, and handed them to Rose for her to find the right one.

Rose: I picked up the ring of keys and examined them all. Picking one out, I stuffed it in the lock. I opened the door slightly. A bit of sunlight shone through. "You ready for this??" I asked excitedly.

Aiden: I nodded.

Tara: I nodded and bit my lip, eager but scared at the same time. What if we didn't like what we found on the other side of the door?

Rose: "Well then, everyone is in agreement." I said, and I opened the door wider, breathing in fresh air and soaking up sun. "Yes!!!!" I squealed and ran into the sun.

Aiden: I took a deep breath and walked out. Hearing Rose's squeal, I laughed, and grabbed Tara. I kissed her in celebration.

Tara: I liked that Aiden kissed me, but I still didn't want to turn into his slut. I pulled away from him after a second or two and looked around at the world, not looking back into his eyes. There was so much else to worry about, I shouldn't be thinking about him. But I was...

It was nice to be free of the concrete cell, we must have been in there for awhile, because the sun stung my eyes a little.

(So, what does it look like where they are?)

I'm thinking either a meadow or a forest for now. how's that?

Aiden: It made me sad to know that Tara kept pulling away. It was a big mistake what I did earlier, and I still hated myself for it. Oh well. Too late now.

(Okay, um maybe a meadow surrounded by forest, that way they can live off the forest?)
