Owen: "Its just been unfortunate circumstances whenever you bring him up. For example, right now, Clarissa needs you to focus on her and you're having a little party."

Breana- "Oh. My. Gosh. HAVE YOU EVER HAD A BABY?! SHE'S EFFING TEETHING." I stopped and took a breath. "Sorry. This is really hard. And I don't want a lecture from you, cause I know what you're about to say. And I don't wanna hear it."

Owen: "Fine. EITHER WAY, shes crying her eyes out. Even if you can't do anything, you need to try and comfort her. In any case, it would be a sucky party with Clarissa's bawls as music."

Breana- "Who said anything about a party? Aidyn was coming over and you're already here. I can't have my two best friends over?' Irolled my eyes.

Owen: "And I quote: and maybe a /few/ friends..."

Breana- "I said 'A friend', not a few friends first of all. Secondly, if you have an issue with my parenting, you can go. Whatever." I held because a tear that may have been forming in my left eye. I hated when people critiqued my parenting.

Owen: I sighed, and moved closer to her, putting my hand on her arm. "Hey. Look at me." I tilted her chin up to look at me. "There is no such thing as a perfect parent anyways. You're doing as well as anyone could have even imagined. I just care about Clarissa too." I paused, waiting for a response that didn't come. "Okay. Okay." I said, moving away from her. "I'll just...go."

Breana- "No. I don't want you to leave. I just don't know if I can do this anymore. It's so much stress... My highschool years are ruined."

Owen: I smiled. "Lemme tell you a secret, babe: those "glory years" aren't so glorious."

Breana- I stared at his face. Right into his eyes. "Well... You already expierienced that. I didn't. So it's easy for you to say."

Owen: "Oh yeah. I'll never forget those soggy fries, or that dumbass Brock on the football team. You know, when I cried at graduation, I cried for /them/." I said, keeping my face solemn and serious.

Breana- "Maybe you don't care, but I want to have a life. I just wish someone would fix what went wrong, I could go back. It just sucks sometimes is all. I mean I really ... Clarissa is my daughter. But sometimes I wish I didn't have to handle this all alone. Summer school and all. Whatever though."

Owen: She would rather have a normal high school experience than have her daughter. I wish I could judge her, but I couldn't. Not when I hadn't experienced that myself. "Fine, whatever." I sat on the couch and turned on a channel that has shows Clarissa likes.

Breana- "I mean, she's gonna grow up to be a hot mess. Just look at me..." I put Clarissa on the floor and she gooed at the tv. Some show with disturbing robot looking characters was on. They were singing songs about not biting your friends... "I don't think I'm doing a very good job."

Owen: I turned around, still sitting on the couch, about to yell at her. Being a 'hot mess' was most definitely not a good thing. If that's what she considered herself, then shouldn't she try to make her kid better than that? Shouldn't she have higher dreams for Claire?
I will not judge, I will not judge, I will not judge...
I thought better of myself, and turned around without saying a word.

Breana- "I think you should go." I couldn't bare his bitterness for one more second. He didn't have to say a word. I know what he thought of me; of my parenting. And if he didn't want to agree, no one was forcing him to. "Now." I said, my words lingering around the room with pain, anger, hurt, and confusion. "Bye." I walked over to the door and opened it, and with a swift gesture, I motioned him to get out.

Owen: I got my bag together, only taking a minute, while Bree stood there, still repeating the same stupid motion. I stood up and walked to the door, standing just before the door frame so she couldn't slam the door. I opened my mouth to speak just as Claire started to cry. I stood unmoving, my face calm and peaceful. I was going to get her attention before I left, and now wasn't the time to speak, not when Claire was so obviously in pain.

((STOP GMING OMG DUDEEE.))

Breana- I ignored Owen standing there. I walked over to Clarissa and picked her up. "You're okaaay" I repeated in a sing-song voice. I sat her on the couch and went to the kitchen to grab her a teething ring from the freezer. As soon as I put it in her mouth the tears stopped and she quieted once again. I sat down next to her and watched the strange robot creatures. "I said LEAVE."

((AND the baby doesn't count.. you aren't making her think anything or anything like that. I don't know what you want to happen since Owen didn't leave, so edit your post if you want to.

Owen: I talked before she could stop me. "I think you're doing fine. But you're focused on a lot at once. Everything would be easier if you just stop trying to be wonder-kid, because trust me, no one is." I, of all people, would know. I looked at her, determined not to leave until I got an acceptable reaction out of her.
It hurt when she looked at me this way. I loved her like a sister, and I knew that unless I fixed this right now, I was going to lose the only family I had in this town.

Breana- "Yeah, well, I kinda have to be. I don't want her to be a screw up, and I know I can quit school, I mean, Theo gives me money once a week to keep going, but I don't know if I want to give up school. I'll never survive in college, but I need at least my highschool diploma." I stared at the way he was leaning on the door. I studied the shapes and curves that a shadow would make. I couldn't do this anymore.

Owen: "Whoa! No! I am in no way saying give up school. No no no. I'm saying maybe sit down, and literally make a list of priorities. You need to decide where Clarissa is on that list, and where everything else is in relation to her. And you have to be honest with yourself. You need to learn, I think."

Breana- "I mean I do well in school. . . No so much lately, but... Whatever, I guess you're right, I should prioritize. Are you leaving now?" I just needed to be alone right now, and he wasn't helping the fact. I took another sip of my coffee, yawned, and stretched my back with my arms raised above my head. "Seriously. It's getting late."

((Okay, now both Owen and Simone are open!))

Owen: "Its not late. It's barely eight. Granted, it is dark-what with being winter, and all..." I paused. "Bye." I walked out and shut the door behind me carefully, as to not upset Claire. I walked down the hallway, wondering if Aidyn was around. I would rather talk to him than do nothing. He was a good guy, and I had absolutely nothing against him. I haven't really met him, to be perfectly honest.
