Better Of The Damned

Katherine: "Gladly." I replied with a smug smirk on my face, which was the only hint of emotion on my face. I didn't care what this guy thought of me, I didn't care about what anyone thought. I didn't mind making a few more enemies, I was pretty used to being hated by now.

Mikey: I kept glaring back at the girl. What the hell was her problem, anyway? She should know better than to even have come near me. She should've felt my aura a while ago.

Katherine: I could just feel his anger in the air, along with his demon aura. I didn't care, because I figured I'd at least match up to him. I mean, I was a demi-god, my father the Ruler of the Underworld. I couldn't be a total weakling.

Mikey: I really wanted to unleash my demon energy. If this girl could be near me this long, she was worth the fight. "Either get the hell away from me, or fight me."

Katherine: "Now why would I fight you? I'd waste vital energy that I'd need trying to find a way out of here." I turned, and started to walk away as I called, "Maybe another time." I was glad that he couldn't see the smirk on my face. I wanted to fight him...but I knew if I did, then I'd probably have a 50% of either winning or losing, and more like a 85% chance of wasting enough energy that I could barely stand up straight. I wasn't going to chance that...yet.

Mikey: I growled, but I eventually decided to let it go. "Damn you to hell." I muttered under my breath as I walked back toward my base camp. It was just a small hideout underneath the surface. The scientists made us 'subjects' able to dig under the surface to try to survive.

Katherine: I sighed, and dropped my facade as I returned to myself hideout that was secluded deep in the forest. It was unable to been seen overhead, and you'd practically walk past it without realizing it was there. I crouched down a little so I could enter my shelter. Besides, if anyone would find my little hideout, I'd had booby traps set up around the perimeter.

Other Important Information: He's really sensitive and you can talk to him about anything, father left for no good reason, so he's really messed up on the inside but doesn't show it.

Mikey: I crawled into the hole in the surface of the ground that was previously covered by a tangle of vines. I could barely find my own hideout, but the trees told me where to go. Yes, the trees can talk in this forest. I made sure that no one saw me go into my shelter, and I placed the vines in the correct position. I lowered myself deeper into the hideout, and I finally touched the bottom. It wasn't the best, but it was shelter.

Johnny: i heard someone enter the area I had been in for the past hour. I jumped, then got on the defense. "Get out!" I hissed. My eyes had already adjusted to the darkness. Though i still couldnt see much, i could hear their breath exiting their mouth. and even though i knew the person or animal or whatever it was couldnt see it, i shot a glare from where i thought they were.

Didnt mikey just go into his 'hideout?'

(Oh, right. I'm stupid right now cause I'm doing homework."

Mikey: What the hell? I was here first. "Leave me alone!" I yelled. I hoped that the person could here me, despite me being underground. I also hoped that they wouldn't find me.

Johnny: So this person clearly meant no harm. I relaxed immediatley. "I'm Johnny. Who or what are you?" I asked, sliding down the 'wall' and sitting. I felt a spider crawl up my arm, so i flicked it away.

Mikey: "My name is Mikey." I replied. Good, this person had no intention of disturbing my carefully placed hideout.

(Nope, I get stupider cause I'm trying to concentrate on homework, so my smarts go to it rather than the things I am doing also)

Johnny: "Sorry... i think you had this place first..." I said uncomfortably. I didnt want to steal his space, since the last thing i needed was someone against me, but at the same time i didnt want to leave...

Mikey: "It's okay. As long as you don't threaten my hideout, I'm fine. I really don't need another enemy right now. So what did you get in here for?"

Johnny: i sighed. "Honest to God, i have no idea. I mean, i sort of do. My minds been playing tricks on me, or maybe my minds taken up some crazy crap from some radioactive pond... I dont know. They knocked me out and brought me here...." I huffed and rested my head against the wall, wondering why i was suddenly able to preform telekinesis and mind reading.

Mikey: "Damn, sounds harsh. I'm a half-demon, so I got thrown in here 32 days ago when this 'experiment' first started."

Johnny: "What is this experiment?" I asked sullenly. I knew scientists were watching us; i remember looking at scientists before i was knocked out, but i had no idea what they planned to do with us. "I mean, are we supposed to form a superhero team... or create a new superhuman species?"

Mikey: "They're trying to find out exactly what we are. They have been performing tests. . .I don't know the full details. I think that once they are done with us, they will kill us. I think they want to kill all us 'paranormal' people in the world."
