Better Of The Damned

(I'm like addicted to anime. So if anyone's character needs someone to talk to, Mikey is open)

Serena: I shook my head No. When they first captured me they turned off the powers to run some tests. Seeing if everything else was normal. When they turned them off I felt this...sense of relief. All light-headed, or maybe normal headed, I wouldn't know since I've never been normal. But I would know if they had fixed it, don't worry.

(Well, I think that'd be the last thing Katherine would want to do...unless he approached her, then she'd be forced to talk to him.)

Johnny: I nodded, then realized Mikey might be curious. "When she says to run, run. Okay?" I wanred him, strictly

(Hmm. . .maybe she could have a change of heart? Mikey isn't one to approach people without good reason.)

(Oh, what? Did you say something?)

(...Yeah...I think that'll work.)
Katherine: I glanced around at everyone else, and paused at the red-eyed guy. I felt a little bad about how I had treated him earlier...it was just once I got into that iron maiden mode, it took a while for me to break free.
I walked over to him, and started, "I'm sorry about earlier..." I glanced away for a second, because I didn't really want to see his reaction towards me. I'd already imagined what it'd look like...hatred was my best bet.

Mikey: "Oh, I'm sorry too. I didn't mean to flip out at you like that. . .it's just a habit."

Katherine: "Yeah...I understand. It's a habit for me too..." It's this place that does it, turns everyone against each other so most don't see the true enemie in all of this. It was like an elaborate chess game with more than two players. Maybe like a hundred players.

Mikey: I pushed my hair out of my face, and I sighed. This place wouldn't take me over. . .it couldn't. I'd die before I would succumb to the scientists games.

Serena: He seems like a nervous guy, good move. I referred to Mikey.

Katherine: I glanced at the surroundings a moment before returning my attention back to him, and flashed him a half-smile. "So am I right to assume you don't want to fight me anymore?"

Mikey: "I'm sick of all the fighting."

Stephanie: I pursed my lips, and nodded in agreement as I said softly, "I agree with you there." Now, I felt embarrassed about me even asking him that. It was just so stupid of me.

johnny: I laughed and stood up from the ground. "I think I'll look around a bit..." I said, rubbing my eyes. They were always burning, and it annoyed the heck out of me. "Wanna come?"

Mikey: "I just want to get out of here, but like it even matters know. It's about time they take one of us to experiment on."

Serena:NO I realized that came out harshly, and softened my tone. Even if it was within his mind, I was sure Johnny could hear voice tone. It's for the best if I stay here. And you all never come back. That wasn't much better...

Katherine: I sighed, and couldn't help but thinking if they were going to take any of the people I was looking at now. If they were...who would they take? "Why mu-...why must it happen?" I asked aloud to no one in particular, my eyes going out of focus for a second before returning to normal. I wasn't expecting an answer.

Mikey: "I don't know, but it's certain that they will come today. They'll pick one of us at random, and if they feel like it, another person must go too."

(You think Mikey and Katherine should get taken?)

(Sure, why not? Oh, btw I have to go in 15 min.)

Stephanie: I frowned, and thought about that for a moment. How would they take someone? Incapacitate them first? I shook my head slightly in an attempt to dispel those thoughts from my head.

Mikey: I shifted my gaze around the perimeter. I knew they were coming. The feeling in the air was ominous. "Get down!" I yelled as I heard the doors opening from the ceiling. This was it. They were ubducting someone.

Katherine: My eyes widened, but I quickly did what he had said. I'd never been so scared in my entire life, and I definately wasn't exaggerating that fact either. I sucked in a breath, and held it for a second to calm down my rapid heartbeat a little. I began to breathe shallow and slow, hoping somehow they wouldn't notice me.

Mikey: I watched as the scientists came down in the perimeter. I took a deep breath, and I knew they were going to find us. "Where are you Mikey and Katherine?" The scientist questioned. It was inevitable. We were the ones chosen. "You'll never conform me!" I screamed.

Katherine: "Oh god no." I was surprised by my chose of words, because I wasn't a religious person at all. I then reached deep within myself, and mustered all the courage and hatred I could. I said some rather colorful words under my breath. (I have to go.)
