Anastasia - "Yeah, they all cry," I tell him and scoot closer to him. "but that isn't your fault most of the time."

Randi: "Thanks." I said, taking the cone from Ronnie and looking around. "And that is ironic. So, booth? Or eat it outside?"

Jack: I laid my free arm across the back of the seats, the put it around Anastasia's shoulders. "Poor girls, but I'm picky." I grinned.

Anastasia - "I guess you are," I smile laying my head on his shoulder. We pull up to the school and I sigh, "Time to face Derek."

((Okay...))

Ronnie: I thought for a second. "Booth, unless you really, really wanted to go outside?"

Jack: I squeezed Anastasia around the waist. "It'll be okay, come on." And then hopped out of the car.

Randi: "Whichever you wanna do..." I said, licking my ice cream, while attempting, and failing, to not let it fall off the cone... "Well, crap!"

Anastasia - I get out and head to the school, where Derek is waiting outside, pacing back in forth.

Derek - "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" I yelled at Anastasia when I saw her. "You're dad called 5 times while you were out and all I could say was that you went off with someone!"

Ronnie: I laughed. "Here, have mine, I haven't licked it yet." I held it out to her.

Jack: "She was with me, Derek, don't worry - she was safe." I came up to stand next to Anastasia, giving her support.

Derek - "Still, your father is dead set on coming here tomorrow and meeting Jake AND making sure you're safe," I frown.

Anastasia - I pause, "My dad is coming here?" When Derek nods I open my mouth, but no words come out.

Jake: "Meeting me? Why would he want to meet me?" My brow furrowed in confusion.

Derek - "Because she was out with you," I said.

Anastasia - "He can't be coming here," I said. "He just can't be!"

Jack: "Wait, is her dad mad at me?" I asked, temporarily ignoring Anastasia. I had never met her father, and wouldn't want to make a bad impression.

Derek - "I don't know, right now he's just made, mostly at me for letting her go off like that," I sigh trying to calm myself. "Don't worry, I'm sure he'll at least try to be civilized."

Jack: I cursed under my breath. There went my good first impression. I turned to Anastasia. "Don't you want to see your dad?"

Anastasia - "It'll be fine, he'll come and then he'll leave," I say trying to convince myself.

Jack: I turned to Derek, since it seemed that Anastasia wasn't giving me an answer. "Why doesn't she want to see her dad?"

Derek - "Her dad and her don't get along too well after the summer, she went to work and he hated that, then it got worse, he wanted her to stay and help his business by marrying the heir to another firm so that they could merge, but she refused, now her dad thinks that you're the reason why she refused," I said solemnly.

Jack: My eyebrows shot up. "But this is the first time we've gone out, I mean that's ridiculous!" I sputtered. What had I gotten myself into?

Anastasia - "Don't worry, I'll tell him that, none of this is you're fault," I say.

Jack:"Well, I mean, I'm not the reason...right?" Had Anastasia had some crush on me for awhile, that caused all this? I doubted it.

Anastasia - "No," I said truthfully, "Even if I had really liked you before it was because I don't do arranged marriages, not because I like you."
