So, the Brit went inside and started doing his stuff immediately and some others were like...thanking me and stuff. This was all good. "I guess you all can like... bring your crap up and like... unpack and claim a room and...if anything appears to be ridiculously faulty just...come find me and I'll be eating random crap I found in the closet..." I stated, figuring that everyone would get their crap going properly and then....uh... stuff could stuff or something.

The Brit was in the kitchen when I walked in and asking about how everyone was. "I am hungry." I stated in response, and proceeded to pull out some Snickers bars, sat down across from him and nommed.

"Ah yes. Hungry," I reply. "Being fully human, I completely understand this human term 'hungry'. Yes. I too am 'hungry'."
My eyes dart every which way for a moment.
"Fancy a cup of tea?"

I suppose I'll start with what I'm carrying. "Thank you," I mumble, going by to 'claim my room'. Preferably a corner room. With large windows. And perhaps the fire escape....
So I head off to the corners of the house, seeing that the Brit didn't claim one, peeking in both before picking the on to the left. Windows were smaller than I would have liked, though I could still climb in and out of them alright. And the fire escape is at the window to the north, while the other is to the west, to give some wonderful late afternoon light into my room. A nice little countdown with the sun until I could prowl the night.
I always hated how, at my parents', the windows were to the east. The morning glare was never fun when you had just been out all night and needed sleep...
Closet doors and a bare bed was all that decorated the room at this point, which was fine. I had stuff, which I steadily recovered from the bowels of my Daewoo's trunk and back seat. So that everything was in a semi haphazard pile in the corner... I'd deal with that tomorrow.
