The Path of Flight (GH AND BELLS)

A chat in Bells' fay world, which one of my misfit characters is going to be apart of soon. o3o after he well dies of course.

Alright, so, first, how is he going to die?

He won't want to use his powers and abilities are limited....it should be easy to kill him. But yeah question, how. We could do something simple....like ran over by a car.....or just....actually do something violent.

Hm, well I'd prefer something simple. And if you'd like I could make a new Fay at the same time he's born so to make it easier for first posts.

Oh, I can also give you a list of Fay without soul mates if you want. Just so if you want one it would be decided before they would happen to meet. If you don't want one that's fine too.

Oh that be great! For both, would it be easier if I just wrote the final moments of a death scene then we could start. I could have Cadotte kill him.

Ben

I sat in the chair, my hands and body bound to it. My heart pounded loudly like a drum in my ears and my hands grew clammy with sweat. They were uncovered, I had used a small amount of courage I had gathered and had tried to defend my family. I, I hated hurting people with my ability.....but they were going to kill them.....and now they were going to kill me. I had told the others to leave me behind and now I was the only one left. I had forced them all to go and hopefully they were safe.

Cadotte looked at me with hardened eyes. In the dim light of the room, I could make out his features and the lines on his face. I wondered often what went through his head, but I was too terrified to know.

"Too bad you have to be disposed of, if you hadn't attacked someone....you could have been quite useful." he said, the only remorse in his voice at the fact I couldn't be used.

I winced, 'attacked' made me sound like an animal or a monster....I wasn't those things....was I? I had been defending myself, not that they would agree.

Cadotte lifted the gun and I stared into the barrel, the face of death. He pulled the trigger, there was a shot, and then there was nothing.

((Okay. I will post for my person in a moment, and here is the list of people that I have so far without soulmates that I can think of right off the bat.

New Fay Girl --

"You don't understand," I squealed, tugging my hands against the cuffs as Jason just leaned against the doorway. "It wasn't my fault. The money will get here! Soon! Just give me a chance."

"You had plenty of chances, babe." Jason said evenly, not showing a hint of regret. "Just blew your last one."

"Please I-"

The request was cut off by a blow to my head, pain stopping my plea. My ears rang as I watched first Jason, then his friends leave the room. Not long after I began to smell what seemed like gasoline. Fear lodged itself in my throat as I began crying, the tears almost making it impossible to see even before the smoke began floating into the room.

Soon it was almost impossible to breath, the cuffs holding me to the metal table leg making it impossible for me to move. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't even get it to budge, smoke beginning to coat my lungs and make me cough.

Black was over taking my vision before the flames even reached my door way.

I guess Jason did one last thing for me, the girl he had promised to love forever.

The fire had started far enough away that the smoke got me before the flames. I didn't have to feel the fire burn away the last bit of evidence linking me to them. My own body.

((Sorry if its a bit sloppy, I just finished putting the kids down for the night. xD It's my Aunt and Uncle's aniversary so I took them for the evening as well.))

New Fay Girl --

I slowly realized that something was wrong with this picture. I felt as if... I were waking up. Instead of the black that had covered my mind when I just couldn't keep myself awake any longer, I found that black that's like your closed eyelids when the sun is shining beyond them.

Shaking my head I opened my eyes, noticing with a bit of annoyance that something was digging into my back, and had the weird feeling of pain where I knew for a matter of fact there wasn't anything to hurt. Sitting up I felt the discomfort go away, along with the strange pain. Freezing my eyes caught sight of an impossible sight in the sky. Two suns.

This was when I finally realized where I was sitting. The bed was more of a bowl shaped stone, it was coated in a soft green object... perhaps moss?

Eyeing the area around me after a second I felt a bit of confusion, the suns becoming less strange by the moment. Outside my little rock bowl was what looked like a meadow, stretching almost as far as I could see. Along the edges were what almost looked like flowers, but were the size of trees. Grass reached up to the edge of the stone, a bit of it peeking over the side, and I could have sworn that the blades were as big as me.

Finally, the other stones. Nine of them to be exact, sitting around the field in a perfect circle. All of the others were empty, except one. Where to my surprise, laid some strange boy.

Then I saw them, freezing in a half standing position. Beneath the boy, seemingly attached to him, where two... wings.

As this slowly sank in I barely noticed the air moving around me, a small feeling of movement from the place where I should have felt nothing. Reaching behind myself I hesitated, then felt around, freezing once again in shock as my hands found something that didn't belong. A silky, thin object...

A wing.

Ben

I blinked, my eyes adjusting to the bright light.

Shooting up, I glanced around wildly. Where was Cadotte?! Why wasn't I dead?! Wait......I WASN'T DEAD!!! I grinned, relaxing slightly.

Looking around, I realized I was lying in a circle of stones, there were two suns, and there were....blades of grass....bigger than me.....

My eyes widened as I spoted a girl with wings. Okay...maybe I was dead....or dreaming...or....or......was this heaven?

I spotted something out of the corner of my eye, something green. Lifting my hand, I realized that something was a wing....

New Fay Girl --

I shook my head, just staring at him for a moment. This had to be a dream, right? Something induced by the smoke filled house. Soon enough it would all go away cause I was dying. I must have just passed out from the smoke instead of dying right off or whatever. So this was dream.

Why the hell would I dream I was a bleeping fairy?

Dragging myself up to my feet I edged towards the side of my bowl, tearing my eyes away from the boy. Instead I eyed the ground which appeared to be at least twenty feet beneath where I was sat. Wonderful... just fucking wonderful.

Ben

IT WAS A WING!! WHY...WHY WAS THAT THERE?! THAT WASN'T THERE BEFORE!!!

I tug on it, wincing slightly. Okay..it was attatched to me....deep....deep breaths, Ben...calm down.........

HOW COULD I CALM DOWN WHEN SOMEONE HAD STUCK WINGS TO ME?! HOW THE HECK DID THOSE GET THERE?!

I shut my eyes tightly, sticking my head between my knees like Nash always told me to do.

Deep breaths...

Madison --

Scowling and cussing aloud I glanced back at the boy again. This time I found him with is head between this knees. What. The. Hell.

Wonderful. I was stuck here and the only possible information source seemed to be some wimpy boy having what may be a melt down. That's fantastic. Freaking Fan-tas-tic.

It was then I noticed the frantic beating of wind behind me. Slowly I realized that this must be my wings... were they reacting to my feelings? Making a conscious effort now to control the wings I managed to slow them by taking deep breaths. Then working with my mind I carefully fluttered them once, then twice.

Well, perhaps this wouldn't be too bad then. For the hundredth time, okay maybe not that many times, I looked up at the boy. It wouldn't be worth the effort it took to do whatever I needed to, to get the guy out of that crappy position. Instead I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and jumped from the rock.

Ben

I glance up, relaxing slightly. That girl...maybe she knew? I lean over the edge, my eyes widing. The ground...was so far away....

Before I could pull back though, my hand slips and I fall forward off the rock. Panick fills me and I shut my eyes tightly and brace myself for the pain.

Except..I don't feel any pain...I just hear a rapid fluttering.

I open my eyes, the ground inches from my face and I give a nervous laugh.

I DIDN'T DIE, AGAIN!!!

I glance behind me, grinning slightly. I had always wanted to fly...maybe now was the chance.

I concentait on going forward and not only do I, but it's quick and I have to stop myself from running into the blade of grass.

This could be fun, I think to myself before going after the girl.

Madison --

So he was following me. Perhaps the guy wasn't completely useless?

Spinning around suddenly I put my hands on my hips, faltering only slightly in my effort to stay in one place.

"Who're you? Where are we?"

Ben

I try my best to stop myself, bumping into her. "S-sorry....I,I don't know where we are, I was hoping you knew. I'm Ben...."

Madison

"Well, that's disappointing." I grumbled, putting my hands up when he bumped into me.

I mean, ew, who would have thought I'd end up getting run into by someone so... gross.

"Don't... touch me." I hissed in his direction, lowering my hands to dust off the front of the pure white dress I'd woken up in. I partly noticed how the markings on my skin flared up to glow even brighter after he touched me, but I didn't make anything of it really.

My only thought being at the fact I was glowing like a light-bulb.

As I did I fought to keep my wings steady after being knocked off balance by him. As soon as I'd managed that I glanced around us, furrowing my brow.

"I guess we should look around then," I muttered dropping a bit lower into the field of grass, eyes drawn by a nearby flower that was bigger than me.

Ben

I react quickly, moving my hands so they don't touch her. I wince slightly, afraid I've hurt her. When the glow grows brighter, I look at the marks on my hands, the ones that don't quite match the others. But they aren't the ones glowing, and I give a sigh of relief.

Dropping down to the ground, I look for something that can cover my hands. "What's your name?"

Madison --

Ugh. That question. What a horrible question. I mean sure, I could tell him anything, this is a dream, but honestly. Who ever heard of a girl like me with a fucking name like that. Some preppy girl name that sounded like I cried or something whenever I broke a nail. It was just... gross. I swear.

"Does it matter?" I snapped in return, looking around us. "I mean, sure you told me your name but this is my dream and I decide what's important. I say it isn't."

Ben

"W-who said it was your dream? I thought this was my dream. S-stop being rude," I snap back, surprised at myself for once.

The blades of grass are pretty thick, but little slivers of grass can easily come off. I pull a few small sliver of hairs, which are pretty small, and wrap them around my hands forming gloves before tying them off tightly.

(He's basically done something similar to taking a piece of yarn and wrapped it around your hand, intertwining it with your fingers, then tying it off...like this)

Bump

"You're dream," I snorted, rolling my eyes a bit. "Right, and I'm supposed to be some side show thing? No thank-you. This is my dream and you better accept it right now fairy boy. Now, lets get down to buisness and start exploring. Because this is my dream I get to call the shots, got it? No arguments because I'm right and you're wrong. Do you understand?"

I rolled my eyes a little at his hand thing, Ben was so weird.

Ben

"F-first off, I woke up like this! I don't normally look like this!" I say, growing angry. "S-stop being rude! S-stop insulting me! And you're wrong!"
