"Mom?" Jiff questioned as he stood again and brushed himself off.
October walked over. "Well, you two were great while it lasted."
Jiff smiled. "I suppose."
"One of the best i've seen, for beginners," Death said, walking over as well.
"You over your conniption then, roomie?" October asked with a smirk.
His eyes narrowed. "You may stay at my house because of my father's hospitality but we are far from roomies. Especially with your pigsty of a room. Makes me tear up just thinking about it." He shuttered.

Augustine: When I step into the courtyard, I see half of the skull on the building caved in, a motorcycle in the middle of the damage. Someone stand off to the side, hands in her baggy jeans, her suspenders hanging down. She'd worn a shirt that day that exposed her belly butting piercing as well as the heart tattoos wrapping around her stomach and twisting around her arms. She takes off her motorcycle helmet ad shakes out her long curly blonde hair, frowning when some gets caught in her snake bites. Mom was always one for piercings. "Mommy!" I squeal. She looks up and grins. "Augustine! Think fast." She suddenly throws her helmet at me. I duck just in tine as it goes straight into Nickoli's stomach. "Nice!" she says. "Now come here!"

"...and then some crazy woman on a motorcycle destroyed the utter architectural genius!" Death rattled out.
Liz rolled her eyes again. "See what I mean?" She whispered over to October, who giggled. They walked out and saw the damage, which made Death start the whole story again tears in his eyes.
Jiff couldn't help an amazed whistle. "Pretty hard core..."

Augustine: Mom twirls menaroud before noting the others and grinning. "Hey, are these your friends?" "Eh...I don't know some of them. But that guy is my new weapon and that's his friend." I notice a certain glint in her eyes at te sound of me getting a weapon before she looks at me again. "Don't tell me the whiny one is your's too?" I look at the funny looking emo kid crying about symmetry. Whatever the hell that is. "No, I don't really know him either. I think I'd remember having a friend who cries that much..."

"I swear i'm going to -"
"Death!" October placed her hand on his shoulder. "Calm down..."
Patty laughed. "He doesn't like that but he can't help follow your orders!"
"Patty, quiet..." He said but no emotion backed it in the way he had wanted to say it. His eyes narrowed at October. "Fine."

Augustine: Mom frowns and looks at the guy. "Oh, hey. I know you. You mind telling your old man I'm here? I'd ask, but I heard that cute technical guy who helped make the town move went back to Oceania for the weekend. I don't really care to make the effort now."

"...Fine..." He said peacefully, still under October's spell, and walked away with Liz and Patty.
"Like mother like daughter?" Jiff asked Nickoli.

Nickoli: Man, if Augustine looked like that, I think I would've volunteered to be her partner, death wish or not. "Man, you're telling me," I say as I put the helmet on the ground. Her mom smiles at us and starts shaking hands. "Hey, I'm Alyssia Heart, Augustine's mom."

"Jiff, he new partner i suppose." He shook her hand.
"October, Jiff's ex-partner." She smiled kindly to her.

Alyssia: I frown as I take the girl's hand, pulling her forward and bending down to sniff her. "That's funny. I didn't know witches were allowed to get weapons now." Augustine's friend Nickoli pulls on my other arm while I observe the girl. "Um...Ms. Heart? Maybe you should start heading to Shinigami's office? You know he'll probably want to talk to you later." I blink and think about this. "True, true. Better go see what he wants now before he has to send someone to find me in the city." I stand back up and stretch.

October smiles to her, though Nickoli saves her from another long explanation. "I'll take you there, then." She starts leading the way into the school

Alyssia: "So, witch. Are you in any classes with my daughter? Bet she gets all A's, hm?" I follow the girl down the hallway and look at the walls, searching for any pictures or mentions of Augustine.

"One, Miss. So far i know that she doesn't mind coffee." She didn't mind the name. Witch was simply what she was, nothing more nothing less.

Alyssia: "Hm, that's funny. Neither does the guy I'm dating. Although he won't admitt we're going out." I start walking down the path with all the guillontines and look up. Ooh, scary.

Death turned and raised an eyebrow at October. "What?" She challenged with a small smile. "Think i'd run away without a babysitter? I'm quite fine on my own thank you very much."
Death laughed. "Oh i'm sure. I was thinking more 'without your powers'."
October rolled her eyes. "Alright, roomie..." She said sarcastically.

Alyssia: "Hey, Shinigami!" I call down the hall. "I just know how much you love see my pretty face. Thought I'd come back and visit, maybe, I don't know, take Augustine out for the weekend..."

Shinigami turned around. "Oh? Alyssia! How good to see you again!" His attention was drawn to the arguing Death and October. "Shinigami Chop!" Death got pit square on the head, October's powers guarded her from the blow.
"I thought you learned that didn't work on me yet, Shinigami," October teased.
"Oh? Ha-ha! Silly me, i keep forgetting." He turned back to Alyssia while Death teared from the blow.
"What?! You're just going to let her get away with that!"
"Apparently." October laughed.

Alyssia: I wince a bit. So, I'm not a "fit" parent while Augustine grows up, but it's perfectly ok to have her around this guy? I touch my own head just thinking about how many times she could've gotten chopped. My poor baby... "Don't tell me you do that to Augustine?!" I ask as tears start running down my face at the thought of the pain.

"Of course not! Only incompetent students!"
"Wow...low blow..." Liz whistled silently.

Alyssia: "Oh...alright then." I take a seat in one of the chairs, the one that's in front of the mirror. I wanna scare any of the kids who decide to call today. "It's been one year since our agreement. You said that I could come back any time to visit, but some...issues have been keeping me away. I haven't seen her in eight months, and then I come back this morning to find my doorstep cluttered with stuff she left. So look, I know the most I've done in the past eight months is call- I did send a few things, but I couldn't remember the address, so I just made it up and hoped it made it- and I want to make it up to her. So, what do you say? Let me take her out for the weekend. I promise she won't be a kishin when she comes back. She'll even be...partially heart free."

"So long as our agreement stays intact and she's totally heart free." He waggled a finger at her. "You agreed she never eat one heart, let alone thirteen. And just in case..." He turned to October. "Ready for your first test?"
Her breath caught. "Yes sir."
"October will accompany you, have her powers, and have the orders to stop her if she comes close to a heart - no matter what it takes."
Death's mouth dropped open, but October was smiling ecstatically. "Thank you Shinigami!"

Alyssia: "Aw, but I don't even know her! What if I loose her in a store of something? Or accidently loose her in a manhole? At this rate, you might as well invite everyone!"

"Escuse me Miss, but i'll be nice enough to give you and your daughter some privacy. It has been a while since i took Nancy out..." She smiled.
"That old broom of yours?" Death shuttered. "The handle is so...crocked..."

Alyssia: "Meh, it doesn't matter. Shinigami has already ruined my family vacation. Oh, the woe. The coulda-shoulda beens. The broken possibilities." I sink down in my chair until I'm almost slipping out. The mirror glows and is replaced with two kids, a blondie and a guy with funny looking teeth. "Oh," says the girl. "May we speak to Shinigami?" "I killed him," I say frankly.
