A Murder to Solve on a Sunday...

James: I thanked the Judge before getting up and walking out of the room. "This blows," I mutter

Ambrosia - "What blows?" I ask creeping up on him from behind.

James: "They all think I did it, but they havent bothered questioning Carter or Jenny or Caiden. Do the lawyers even know about them?"

Ambrosia - "I told them everything," I say. Including how I don't trust you one bit.

James: I rub my forehead, exhausted. Then I rested my elbows on my knees, covering my face. "God," i say, voice muffled. "My wife's dead..."

Ambrosia - I step back slightly startled, he looked... depressed.

James: I don't change my position. "The woman I married, five years ago, is dead. Dead. she's gone. I don't get to see her again. She's dead. And somone killed her." Anger boils up inside and I look up to Ambrosia. "I'll kill them." I croak, a bit hysterical. "I'll kill that motherf*cking bastard myself for what he did..."

Ambrosia - "Calm down." I say.

James: "Calm down?" I repeat slowly. "Calm down," This time, more like a sneer. "Bah! I can't calm down. I'll go insane." I mutter. All the same I stop yelling, but I do sit down angrily, grabbing my hair in frustration.

Ambrosia - I touched his shoulder softly, "I'm sorry."

James: I sit there, not acknowledging her. When the judge calls us back in, I stand up abruptly, gently brushing past her as I went. Even I could smell my cologne. Maybe I put too much on. Whatever.

Ambrosia - I shake my head, "No, I can't." I whisper to myself.

James: i walk back into the courtroom reluctantly and sit in my seat by my attorney.

((call up a mistress?))

Lawyer: "We call Carter Jamison to the stand," I say, pointing the mistress. She snaps her gums and swears to tell the truth.

Carter: Here we go...

Ambrosia - "Don't trust her," I frown.

Lawyer: "Where were you when Haylee Hart died?"

Carter: I smirked. "I plead the fifth."

Lawyer: "Your Honor, we're asking for her alibi, I find it unnecesary to let her-"

Carter: "I plead the fifth, I'm entitled to my rights," I snap at the lawyer. The judge seemed to agree with me.

(Oh crap, I missed a lot.)
