A Murder to Solve on a Sunday...

Caiden: I bite my lip. "Erm.. I was getting some work done." I say vaguely. "Like... a tummy tuck...."

Ambrosia - "I'm going to need the exact place and time you were there so I can check there records." I tell her.

Caiden: "Dr. Schulman Plastic Surgery," I say reluctantly. "Maybe.... 5:30?"

Ambrosia - "Alright, sounds good." I tell her.

Caiden: Without saying a goodbye, I close the door quickly, heart still going at it rapidly.

Ambrosia - I go to James's house and knock on the door.

James: "Damnit people! I told you I didn't do it, I- oh. Detective. Right." I say disgruntled when I open the door. "get anything from them?"

Ambrosia - "Are you going to let me inside or would you rather me discuss this on your porch?" I ask him.

James: I sigh and hold up one finger, saying 'one minute' and closing the door. Quickly, I usher the girl out of my house from the back door. Then, I let the detective in.

Ambrosia - I walk in and wait until he shuts the door. "Well all three of your mistresses denied involvement, obviously, by the way you really get around a lot for someone with a wife." I comment. "but only one, your youngest one gave an alibi."

James: I nod. "Yeah, I paid for that tuck. She ought to be thankful. So what now? Got a lead or a... a hunch?"

Ambrosia - "You paid for the tuck and yet you called her thinking she killed your wife?" I raise my eyebrows. I had a hunch all right.

James: "I never said that! You're putting words in my mouth! I just said I had three mistresses. That's three possibilities."

Ambrosia - "Yes but she said you called her telling her your wife was dead and she killed her." I say, "the others had no idea your wife was even dead."

James: "Maybe she was my favorite," I mumble. "Maybe I thought she should know first. I'm not accusing."

Ambrosia - "She was scared to death when I got there, saying you thought she killed her." I step closer to him.

James: I laugh bitterly. "Her? Kill my wife? Not likely. She couldnt hurt a fly. Took a bit to get her to like me too. But she said I grew on her. So. I don't think she killed her. To be quite honest I'd say it was Carter. But again, I'm not saying I think it's Carter, I'm not saying you should go back and interrogate her." I smile slyly. "Goodbye, detective."

Ambrosia - "Getting rid of me so soon?" I ask him.

James: "Yes because I have no more information for you."

Ambrosia - "Call back in that girl when i leave James, wouldn't want her waiting too long," I smirk as I walk past him.

James: I purse my lips to hold back a remark. "She's not someone I'm with, detective. Family friend," I say/

Ambrosia- "Then why did you make her go when I came?" I ask him.

James: "It'd look odd, wouldn't it? A man who just lost his wife, has another girl in the apartment?"

Ambrosia - "You know what looks weirder?" I ask him. "A man who just lost his wife but doesn't seem too sore about it telling a girl to go outside of his apartment so that the detective won't see her."

James: I splutter. "Fine! Here!" I call her back in.
"Hello," she says in a monotone voice.
