Young Justice!

Robin pauses and runs a hand through his hair.

Arrowette paused. "So...what are we supposed to do about them?"

Queenie: "Can I see those?" I ask the woman behind the counter. We were awhile away from the mall, maybe a whole town over. Jack said we needed to lie low for a bit. The woman tries to cover up her confusion with a smile. "Oh, I'm sorry little girl. Perhaps you should ask your mommay and daddy if you can come back with the-" "The crown," I say coolly. "Let me see it. Now." The woman's eyes widen but she bends down to open the case. The crown is on my head within moments. "Hey, Jack? How do I look?" I ask. "Perfect, as always," he says. "Good." I turn back to the woman and flick my wrist. Just like that, her neck snaps and she falls to the ground. "Let's live here now," I say. Jack frowns and moves from the wall just as security guards come running over.

Now what?

Maybe they get the call to take care of that?

alright... I don't really have any characters that would recive that call...

Canary: Suddenly my watch starts to beep I curse under my breath. It's white so that means it's for the kids. "Alright everyone, looks like you've guys got an official mission." I run out the mansion and jump into the car. "A whole jewelry store full of people are being murdered as we speak."

Arrowette
I pause before following Canary, unsure. "But...will it help if we go?" God, i couldn't believe i was saying this... "I mean, if we go the girl will just take control of us again and we might just cause more damage..."

Canary: I frown and turn around. "You don't think it's them, do you? It's pretty far off."

Spades
Even if it was... which did seem pretty far off, I was immune to mind control. Part of the telekinesis, I supposed "Alright then, what, do you drop us off?"

Canary: I sigh. "Well, I don't really have a choice now, do I? Strap in and shut up." Without another word, I slam my foot down on the pedal. Damn, I wish I'd brought my motorcycle instead.

Spades
I felt like I was going to be dropped off at school... except, you know, we were stopping insane criminals and there was the possibility we could die.

Arrowette
I check my arrows. "Sooo....I'll provide cover."
Robin nods. "And if anyone's being controlled we knock them out."

Spades
"Is Speedy coming?" I ask, checking the knives and explosives in my belt

Jack: "Be quiet," I murmur to a screaming security guard. I raise my sword and stand over him. "You're so dramatic." So many people overdramatize death. Does anyone realize that it happens just as quickly as babies are born? Queenie slowly walks over, adorned from head to toe in jewels and blood. "I don't like this place anymore," she says. "Its dirty. Let's go home." She takes my hand and I turn just as a black car pulls up.

"You fractured his ribs, no matter what he complains about," Arrowette reminds her. "Don't worry. He deserved it in my opinion."

Spades
I don't answer her as we pull up to the store, and I jump out of the car. You've got to be kidding me... it is them. A grin spreads over my face, this is good.

Queenie: "Oh look, they brought my present back. Come here," I say. The green boy tries to hold onto his seat but comes with a flick of my finger. "C'mon!" says Jack as he grabs my hand. "The field trips over! Our bus is gonna leave without us."

Spades
I try to use my power to counteract hers, but I couldn't tell if it was working or not. A migraine pounded my skull, and I tried to process what the boy had just said. Field trip? Bus?

Queenie: I pout as my present gets stuck halfway between me and the car. He frowns and tries to wiggle free. "I am not a yoyo, you guys! Put me down!" Jack tries to get me again and I push him off. "We'll take the midnight bus then!" I say. "Don't get in my way!"

Spades
"This or getting thrown off a building" I hiss, squeezing my eyes shut. A trickle of blood falls down my face and I realize my nose is bleeding from the pressure on my head, my ear drums threatening to burst. I couldn't concentrate on what they were saying, had to... just keep trying...

Robin jumps out with Arrowette. "The boy," He reminds Spades. "She's protective of the boy." And then he sees her bleeding. He pulls out a shot of adrenaline and hands it to her. "Take this."

(wait... is that even legal?)

Jack: "Queenie!" I say finally as I pick her up by her arms. The guy drops onto the ground and starts to rub his head. My sister turns to me, her face it's usual expressionless mask. "I hate you," she breathes before she suddenly kicks me in the ribs. I drop her as I fall to my knees, biting back curses as I feel several broken ribs. Her eyes narrow and she steps on my hand. "I thought I told you to stay out of my way."

Oh yeah, too much can kill you o.o
Spades
I gasp out, taking about thirty seconds to compose myself from the pressure. Then I run over, knocking the girl from her brother with a well placed kick to the side. I pin her to the ground and I hissed softly "You're lucky the other heros are here"
