"Two kids," He answers Speedy. "We met them at the mall and then at a jewelers."

Speedy
"Spades got creamed by two kids?!" I couldn't believe it; maybe she wasn't so tough after all

"More than you ever did..." Arrowette grumbles

Speedy
"Maybe she's going soft" I muttered, glancing at her

Spades
"Hey Speedy, maybe we should have a sparring match later so we can see how 'soft' I've gotten" I growled, my eyes flashing

"The doctor says no," Emily says to her with a smile. "I can't fully fuse bone that good. It'll probably support your weight but i don't think it'll last very long in a fight."
Arrowette frowned as she hit him over the head with her bow. "Warned you..."

Spades
"Fine, but when I can fight again, hero boy..." I growled, standing up "Broken ribs will be the least of your worries. Trust me"

Speedy
Geez, great going Speed "Whatever you say, Spades"

"Oh, i'd pay to see that..." Kim snickered.
Emily sighed. "Of course you would."

Can I make a really young hero?

Speedy
"Help me out here Robin" I whispered, taking a step backwards "I'm too young to die man, too young..."

Robin rolls his eyes. "It'd certainly teach you a lesson, Speed..."

"I can't learn anything when I'm DEAD, man!"

Mentor: None yet, but young enough to have another kid hero
Powers: Elements; fire, water, wind and earth. Not very much in control yet though

Description: Long, black hair, blue eyes. Only eight, so very short. No costume yet
Personality: Very trusting, maybe too much so. Needs a father or mother figure.

Beast Boy: I start whistling as I wait by the front entrance. Canary had made a point of pulling me aside while everyone else went to help Spade. Wonder what it was about. When I see the familiar motorcycle come speeding around the corner, I stand up. "Hey, Canary! What did you-" I stop when I see a little kid clinging to her back, her face covered by one of Canary's helmets. "Beast Boy," she says as she hops off. "Meet your new roomate."

I whimpered, holding onto the lady tightly. I didn't talk, just studied the new comer intently. A tear streaked down my face

"They're not going to kill you," Robin chuckles.
Emily stands again, Kim stays close just in case.

Speedy
"Hey, has anybody seen BB?" I ask, changing the subject quickly

"Out front...Canary said something about a new girl..." Arrowette said.

Beast Boy: "W-what?" I ask as I take a step back. "But she's so young!" Not to mention the fact that little kids scare the crap out of me. Either they run away from me screaming, start beating me up, or decide to make me their slave. I don't know whch is worse! But Canary buts her hands on her hips and glares. "Consider her a present from Mother. She was about to become her property when the league intervened and she decided to give her to us as a gift. So no complaining, alright? I swear if I hear you made her cry..." I shudder. Yet another reason to be afraid! She bends down to the girl and gently takes off the helmet. She wipes the tear from her eye and smiles. "I'm gonna leave you with some very nice people for now. You'll still see me sometimes, but I'm afraid I can only be around so often. Will you be alright?"
