Maximum Ride

Alex: "A flight sounds great." I said, standing up and stretching.

Kal: I stood but then sat. i thought that Hillary was talking to me, but I guess not.

Hillary: I had actually meant Kal...but the more the merrier, I guess. I shrugged. "Come on then, you two!"

Kal: I half smiled, shaking my head. "I'd really rather not. My wings are kinda tired," I said. Okay, a lie. I didn't get tired, but she didn't need to know.

Alex: "C'mon kal." I said, standing up. "It'll be fun."

Kal: I frowned a little as Arlo came out. "Why not ask Arlo? He's a load of fun," I said, but I couldn't kep a straight face. Arlo just shot me a small glare and walked over, standing next to me.

Hillary: "Uh...well, if he wants to he can come...but I thought you might want to, Kal." I said innocently.

Kal: "I guess since neither of you will leave me alone," I said and got up, "that I'll go. Personally, I don't think he wanted to anyway." Arlo had already busied himself by disassembling an old radio he had found in the corner of the house.

Hillary: I shrugged. "Maybe not. Come on, then!" I walked out the door.

Midge: I walked silently over behind Arlo, though I didn't mean to. I just had a light step. "What are you up to?"

Alex: I walked towards the door, opening my wings slowly.

Kal: I snapped out my winds, dark, black and glossy, shining from the sun and shot up like a rocket. It was energizing, flying for fun. Not so much when you had to fly to keep yourself alive. No, not so fun.

Arlo: I held my self from jumping as I looked up at Midge. "Not much, justing taking this old thing apart," I said, holding it up for a second. I went back to work quietly, my tongue poked out of my mouth as I concentrated.

Alex: I took a running start, jumping into the air. Air rushed around me as I flew, making me relax.

Hillary: I simply hopped into the air and spread my wings casually. I wasn't a fan of big, artsy shows.

Midge: "Sorry, did I startle you?" I smiled a little sheepishly, then knelt down beside him. "Do you need help?" I was itching to use my power to simply piece it together.

Arlo: I looked at her for a second. "No, I think I'll save my project, but there is an old computer over here," I said, nodding at a table. I smiled back at her for a second.

Kal: I slowed and let myself fall into place near Hillary. "So, talk to me... What's happening?" I asked.

Alex: I flew a little ways away from them, my wings working powerfully. I did some graceful falls, smiling at the rush that followed.

Midge: "Okay." I shrugged and worked on the computer. It would satisfy that itch, at least.

Hillary: "What do you mean?" I asked amusedly. "Not much today, just flying. No sign of Erasers nearby..."

Kal: I chuckled. "I meant, how are /you?/" I asked, cocking my head at her.

Hillary: "Oh, good." I laughed, doing a flip in the air. "How about you?"

Kal: I shrugged as much as I could. "It's been up and down," I said.

Alex: I watched as the talk, and shrugged. I dove again, smiling as my hair whipped around me.
