Sterling:" room and stay there "

Rose:" you are unfair sterling" I said as I stormed off to my room

Shannon: I took the bottle, and poured the contents down the kitchen sink before tossing it into the recycle bin. I couldn't shake my head in disappointment, because I had done almost the exact same thing when I was about 17. I hated the world, and figured I could drink to forget about it, and all of my problems.

Sterling:" are okay Shannon?"

Shannon: "Yeah, fine." I lied instinctively, and then hated myself for it. "What about you, Sterling?"

Sterling:" a bit pissed off but other then that I'm fine"

Shannon: I was secretly glad he didn't notice my lie. I began to think back to when I first starting drinking, and how stupid I was for doing so.

Sterling:" you started to drinking about her age shannon"

Shannon: I looked up at him. He obviously could tell what my thoughts were. "Yes, Sterling, I did." I confirmed with a small sigh. "It is probably the most stupid thing I have ever done in my entire life so far."

Sterling:" Shannon I think your the best person that should talk to rose"

Shannon: I took a breath, "I think so too." I agreed with a half-smile, then I went to Rose's room, and knocked on the door lightly before I opened the door enough to poke my head in, and half of my body. "Hey." I greeted her softly, "Mind if I come in?"

Rose;" what you do want " I said as I stay laying down on my bed

Shannon: "I just want to talk to you for a minute or two if you'll listen."

Rose:" go ahead and talk " I said as I patted on the bed pretty much telling her come in

Shannon: I sat down next to her on the bed, and wondered how on earth I was going to word this. "Rose...Sterling cares about you a whole deal, and so do I. He may seem unfair to you, but he just doesn't want you making bad decisions that can change your life for the worse. Niether do I, because I don't want you having to go through what I have first-hand. I started drinking when I was about 16-17, because I figured I just couldn't handle the pressures of everyday life, and eventually, I realized that the alcohol caused more problems than I already had before. Sterling and I don't want you going through any of that, at all because we care about you, and though it might seem more like overprotection, it's really not." I took a breath, "Understand what I'm getting at?"

Rose:" I understand but it's not why I'm doing it I need it Shannon because that spell scarlet and Lilly did been craving something when I kiss sterling I figure I want to be touch it got a bit worst since then and drinking makes it go away " I said as I sat up and I pull my legs into my chest

Shannon: I looked at her caringly, "Honey, drinking only makes it go away for a short while, then it comes back to haunt you. You have to face it head on to truly make it go away."

Rose:" its hard Shannon I just want it to go away"

Shannon: I gave her a hug, and then pulled away as I said, "I know, Rose, but it's not going to vanish by drinking, no matter what, and that's the truth, as harsh as it is."

rose:" are you sure shannon that it won't vanish?"

Shannon: I nodded my head, and hid a knowing smile, "I'm sure. I've tried many times, and it has never worked."

rose:" okay shannon and can i be alone for a bit "

Shannon: "Yes, of course." I answered with a small smile before I left Rose's room, and rejoined the others in the living room, hoping she had taken to heart what I said.

rose: i won't drink then i will do something i thought to myself

sterling:" how did it go shannon ?"

Shannon: "Good, Sterling, at least I think so." Hope so.

sterling:" at least you try shannon thanks for talking to her
