El Dia de los Muertos.

Apollo: This woman in my arms was all I needed out of life-if there was such a thing anymore. Her smile, the softness of her skin beneath my touch, the sweet sound of her laugh. I was sure my brother was out there somewhere, making his snide little jokes, but I didn't care. All that mattered was her. My lovely little Rose.

Rose: I looked up at him. "What now?"

Apollo: I looked down at her and shrugged my shoulders with a smile. Though, as I glanced at her wing, I was troubled. Whatever she had in mind, it couldn't be too strenuous.

Rose: I sighed. "You're worried about my wing."

Apollo: My expression softens as I look down at her with a small, sheepish smile. I caress her cheek, looking into those beautiful eyes. I couldn't have her going around injured, risking the chance of her somehow hurting herself more in the process.

Rose: I shook my head. "You worry too much." I giggled slightly.

Apollo: I frown, confused. Was it possible to worry too much?

Rose: I put a hand on his cheek. "Ill be fine. Its you I should be worried about. You must be hurt, those men were strong" I said. I had two scenarios dreamed up in my head. 1) they followed me here, and woke up Apollo, which was the one I was hoping for, and 2) Apollo got really pissed when he saw me and hunted them down. If it was option 2, I was hoping he wasn't angry about my passive way of dealing with him. Hey, I'm an angel. I'm a little bit of a pacifist. The sword is for defense, and its a symbol of angels. Besides wings and halos, but halos were overrated.

Apollo: I shook my head, simultaneously shifting my weight onto the other leg. I winced. Damn. My ankle was probably fractured, my wrist (on the arm that was at my side), was most likely broken. I was too careless.

Rose: Apollo winced at something. I furrowed my brow. "Apollo, don't hide it from me if you're hurt. I can tell you are, so tell me." I said, worried. "You'll just worry me if you hide it."

Apollo: I sighed, carefully taking a seat on the ground. I pulled up my pantleg, revealing the start of a swollen ankle. I slid up my sleeve, the flute landing in my lap as I revealed an almost black wrist swelling against my sheet white flesh.

Rose: I sighed and sat next to him. I pulled a longer shred off of my dress, and set it on the ground as I set his wrist straight. I picked up the fabric and began wrapping it around his wrist, tying it off when I ran out of the cloth. I pulled off another piece of shredded dress, and repeated with his ankle. I looked up when I was done. "Better?" I was less worried now that I knew what the problem was, and I had attempted to fix it.

Apollo: I nodded. It was, although it still didn't feel good, but I didn't really expect it to. I leaned over placing my hand on her cheek as I kissed her deeply.

Rose: my heart fluttered as he kissed me. Damn he was a good kisser. I was glad he was better though. I was glad I could help, and I wouldn't have to worry about him. As much as before.

Hee hee, at least it was me who wrote him. And I wasn't planning on giving him a gf. Lol xD

Apollo: I pulled her close, despite my wrist, and into my arms, not breaking the kiss. (Lame unintentional rhyme -_- !nspired should join! It'd make things interesting!)

Rose: I let him pull me closer. I wanted him to. I just wanted him to hold me and never let go. Eventually we would have to, a fire or a protest or some survivor getting out of hand. But I couldn't fly right now. I was out of commission temporarily. Maybe he could hold me for along time, and he wouldn't have to let go. The thought made me want to smile, but my mouth was busy. And I liked it that way.

Apollo: I broke away after a minute, taking a deep breath as she rested her head on my chest. I stroked her hair, smiling down at her. This was paradise in the midst of hell.
