Canary: this was a new face. "I'm Canary, have we met?"

Marie: "Nope, nope, nope!" I say as I start playing with my cards. "My name is Marie Levou and I'm a Romani! Lalinna told me to come to keep Noah company because he isn't very smart and he could get himself hurt. Right, No?" I ruffle his hair and he grimaces. "I'm the one taking care of you, not the other way around." "Don't lie! Lalinna doesn't like it."

Canary laughed. "Oh, I've missed you! What have you been doing these past years?"

Noah: "Psh, I wish I could tell you something interesting, but then that'd be a lie." "Good boy," says Marie and I frown. When did I become a dog? "My grandmother passed though and then Marie snuck in and refused to leave. I guess that counts."

"Really? I'm so sorry about your grandmother, Noah" I sigh, remembering how she saved my life in the alley

Dustin watched from an alleyway as a very familar caravan stopped in front of Canary's. He was half-inclined to run over there, but decided against it. But...Noah was there, he hadn't seen him in years. He stepped out of the alleyway, silent and unnoticed.

Canary: "You mean...she's not here anymore?" She felt her heart sink a little.

Noah: "Oh, don't worry about it," I say. "She's lived for over a hundred years and that in itself is a blessing. I knew it would happen, but at least she was happy and lived a long life."

Nellie
I nod with a sigh "Yes, I guess... too bad Esther is back with her husband to be, she'd love to see you!"

Marie: "Hm? You, over there!" I call to a guy standing far off. "Come here!"

Noah: I start shivering and wrap my threadbare coat tighter around me. "Is it always this cold this time of year?" I ask. "This is why we inky come in the summer!"

Dustin cocked an eyebrow, and tapped his hat up a bit. That was a new face. He smirked and walked over with his hands in the air. He'd been caught.

Canary glanced around the caravan. Was that..."Dustin?" It'd been a long while since she'd seen him up close.

Marie: "Hey, want me to read your fortune? I know you're probably a broke little swindeler, so I'll trade you for your hat."

"No thank you, I've already given my favorite hat up to this caravan, not again." Dustin couldn't help the grin creeping on his face, though. It was like being ten again. He pulled a couple of coins out of his pocket. "I've got this, though." He tossed them her way.

Marie: I stick my my tongue as I shuffle my cards. "Aw, you're no fun!" I run into the back and run back out with a hat. "Lalinna told me to give this back to you. She said your head looked naked without it and you'll need it when it gets cold."

Dustin laughed and plucked his newer hat off his head, and tried on his old one. It used to be a couple sizes too big for him, but now it fit perfectly. "Tell Lallina I was gonna take it back anyway," he said.

Marie: "You wish you could've. All she had to do was just put it on a bigger shelf. Although on the plus side, your ears don't look so big now. So are you just gonna stand there, or are you going to come here so I can sell you something?"

Dustin cocked an eyebrow, then tugged his hat lower and came closer. "Alright, shoot."

Marie: "Hm...let's see, let's see...ah, here it is!" I shove an ancient looking ring at him. "That'll keep you from getting your soul taken!"

Dustin studied the ring. "Who would take my soul?" He didn't believe in that junk.

Marie: "That one guy outside would," I say. "He's pretty nice, but he was the first one to do it. The one who's getting married would too." I shrug. "Its like a new fashion trend amongst the dream eaters." I immediately cover my mouth. "Oopsies, I wasn't supposed to say all that!"

Dustin: "Wha-wha-wait. One who's getting married?" He still doubted, but maybe he would get a good story out of it. Free entertainment.

Marie: "I just told you all this free information and that's what you're concerned about?" I agrivatedly throw my hands up in the air. "What are you, a nobleman's wife? You should have better things on your mind than gossip!"

Dustin: "You read--" Nevermind, he was't surprised. Should've seen that one coming. "Fine. Sure, I have better things to think about, but that stuff gets boring after a while. Why bother?"
