Re: the masquerade
I'll get a new charrie involved.
Kit: I paused and spun around, my skirt twirling around my feet. I needed more water. A young looking server boy was walking by with a tray full. I stopped him and realized he was probably my age. I smiled, surprised. After a minute, I took one of the glasses.

Re: the masquerade
Jacob: "Oh, hold on Miss don't -" But it was too late. She had drunk the clear liquor, often mistaken for water. My eyes widened, expecting a blow or some kind of punishment for not warning her. That was how most of the nobles treated me.

Kit: I spit my mouthful out and turned to the boy before erupting in a fit of giggles. "It's fine. An honest mistake," I shrugged, but could help relishing the warmth in my mouth. "Im Quiterie, by the way. Mind directing me toward someone with water?" My smiled was bright.

Jacob: I hand her a napkin, then point to my sister, Jenny. "The brown-haired server over there. The one that looks a bit like me."

Re: the masquerade
Kit: "Thanks," I said, wiping my mouth and starting toward the other girl. I paused, looking her over. She did look like him. I grabbed a drink from her tray and went back to the boy. "She a sister, twin?"

Re: the masquerade
Jacob: "Older sister, people mistake us for twins a lot, though," I wondered why the girl had come back over here. Surely she had something better to do than talk to a serving boy?

Kit: "Do you work for the Hawthornes?" I asked, cocking my head a little. If he did he was new... Wait, why was I talking to him again? Oh right. I have nothing to lose.

Jacob: "No, I'm a servant of the Livingstons. I shouldn't be working, but they needed an extra hand here."

Kit: I nodded a little. "I see." pushing back in my memory, I knew who they were and this boy... I recognized him, too. When I was little, maybe ten, I would stay there while my mother traveled. That boy... Or someone who looked like him HD been there as well.

Rosalie: I smiled. "Thank you." I said, delicately taking a sip from the glass with a sly smile.

Emerson: "Of course." I smiled a ducked my head a little. When I looked back up, my green eyes were smoldering. Adrenaline was suddenly in my veins. I threw Rosalie a wicked smirk.

Em: "Whatever do you mean, Ms. Swan?" I asked, my grin taking a turn for the sensual. My eyes lit up accordingly and I put my arm up againt the wall she was near.

Re: the masquerade
Rosalie: "your smirk was quite mischievous. What were you thinking of?" I had heard from the papers that he was cocky. I wondered how that would affect me.
