Leigha: "No," I said quietly, looking down so she couldn't see my face white I tried fighting back the sting of angry tears. Ambrosia had never seen me cry, which I did a lot at this time of night, not once, and she wasn't going to now. "I-I'm not."

Leigha: I clutched to her, tears rolling down my face no matter how hard I tried to force them back, and soon I was sobbing silently into her shoulder, my body trembling.

(Can we make this part where Ambrosia realizes she's deaf some way? Because atm Leigha can't read her lips)

Leigha: I continued to cry, all common sense lost in the overflow of emotion. "D...Don't leave, Ambrosia..."

Indigo: It was nightfall now, which wasn't good.

Gnag's, and teen criminals wlaked the street's at night.Their was a cerfew, and most of the 'normal' children followed it.

The cerfew was to make sure that one of the younger kids didnt get hurt, or lost, or in trouble at night when the 'elders' were sleeping. But now, the cerfew was a warning that the criminals would come out soon.

I knew of the drug dealrs, and the theifs. I knew of the muggers, and of the.... Prostitutes...

All this was my job to stop, yet somehow I couldn't.
I couldn't make a peaceful society, out of this hell.
I could barely take care of myself, let alone all the other kids in NYC.

Tomorrow, Kandy and I had to cross the Manhattan bridge, to have a meeting at The Mass head quaters.

The Few had Time Square, and surrounding areas. The Mass had Manhattan Island.

I tossed, and turned, and tried to fall asleep;but i couldnt.

Ambrosia - I held her close to me until she fell asleep and then I did the same. It was a peaceful sleep. Then morning came and the knock on my door awoke us both.

Damien- I opened the door after I knocked and saw Ambrosia and Leigha. "Both of you get ready immediately in your best clothing. We have a meeting to attend."

Kandy: I came in with a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon with orange juice, my eyes softening when I found her passed out. By the looks of it, she had tossed and turned all night, and I really couldn't blame her. Indigo's job was hard. Maybe I shouldn't wake her up, I thought, I could just let her sleep. She needs it. Then I frowned and shook my head, dismissing the idea. She'd be so mad at me if I did. With a sigh, I set the tray down and gently shook her awake. "Indigo...you've got to get up. I've got you breakfast..."

Leigha: I opened my eyes just in time to see Damien walk from the doorway. With my arms still wrapped around Ambrosia, I looked up at her wondering what happened. "Did he want something?"

Ambrosia - "We have to get dressed in our best clothes, apparently there is a meeting this morning we must attend," I whisper not taking my eyes away from the empty doorway. It was like every time Damien was near me he sucked away my happiness and hope.

Leigha: I frown after reading her lips, scrutinizing her expression as she fixated her gaze on the vacant door way. I slide from the bed, tugging her along, having no memory of even coming into Ambrosia's room last night.

Ambrosia - I get dressed in an elegant black dress that sweeps the floor. It has a slit in the side.

Leigha: I slip on a simple black dress with a sleek silver ribbon around my waist, tied in a fashionable bow at the hip. My hair is tucked behind my ear on one side, a section of it sinched(sp?) back with a black barette.

Leigha: I nod, hating these ridiculous clothes, and Ambrosia knew it. I just wasn't the type of person for this. I didn't have anything against them, apart from Damien's own sick personal gain, Ambrosia was in her element. She was stunning no matter where she was, what she wore...in fact I was a little envious. These just weren't meant for me. I wasn't attractive. At all. I let her lead the way, but sticking as close as ever, keeping on full alert.

Ambrosia - I knocked gently on the door to the conference room. They opened the door and I felt the eyes watch as I took my seat on the right of Damien.

Damien - "Nice of you to join us," I tell them. "Leigha, take your seat, quickly."

Leigha: I did so soundlessly, my face as unreadable as ever as I kept my eyes trained on Damien's mouth, while still keeping Ambrosia in my perephiral(sp?) vision. Wyatt was at my feet, head poking out with curious intrigue and I had to bite back a smirk. It seemed Damien couldn't catch the 'filthy mutt,' as he called him.

Damien - "This meeting is about The Mass." I started. "They are growing more daring and we must stop them." I demand.

Ambrosia - "I have no desire to stop them." I growl. Everyone in the room is staring at me.

Damien - I glare, "You should, darling, because if they don't stop, I'll kill them all. Including the small children." I smirk as I see a tear form and her gasp.

Leigha: My pen 'slips' from my hand, thunking Damien right between the eyes. "Oops," I mutter and bend down, retrieving it once it rolls back to my chair, then shrug it off.

Random Guy 1: "The Mass is a risk to our whole way of life."

Ambrosia - "Have you ever thought that our 'way of life' is the wrong way? That maybe it's bad to work the young ones to death?" I ask my voice growing softer and quieter as I go.

Damien - "It's how things work Ambrosia." I pull her close to me, but remain gentle and calm. "We are better than them."

Leigha: My eyes narrow at the closeness between Damien and her, and I can feel Wyatt growling beneath my foot. I prod him gently, quieting him as he jumps up in my arms, licking and sniffing at my face. Hyperactive child.
