Milo: I felt my smile slowly fade. I coudn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. Really wrong. Cricket and I made eye contact, and I knew that he had just felt it too.


ps. We could have them go back and fight while the others are unconcious, they would just have to be defeated too, or have to run away to come back and fight again. I like the second idea very dramatic. :3

Cricket slowly stood, listening and watching. He motioned for Milo to do the same, and murmered, "We need to get out of here. Now."

it would be cool if the force was after them already, but we cant because Iron Eagle said that they would come back, so we have to quickly go back cause we feel like somethings happened to the others.

Milo: Cricket and I strode quickly down the street. Our paces became longer and faster, until we were sprinting to get back to the bar. We tore around the corner, and skidded to a stop in front of the abandoned bar. It no longer had a comforting air about it.

Wait, but they sent search parties out

hmmmmm. That they headed back and plunged in the room clueless, and have to fend off attackers as a team. Cept we lose....but.....yeah.

Hmm, what about we sneak into the room, hope the SWAT doesn't see us, have an epic battle but slip away? That way we can have some people trying to break them out. We can maybe get caught later.

be RIGHT back in about ten minutes, gtg shower

(nods) I think they should be captured, and escape, but they cant free the others because they are seperated. Crickets gunna have to convince Milo to do it, because its the best strategy. and he would come up with it.

Ami and Sarah rounded the other corner. "Hey peeps, what's the hurry?" Sarah asked.

Cricket: "Sh, sh," he whispered, "Something's not right."

Milo: I placed a finger over my lips, signaling for them to be quiet. I waved my hand forward, and we all made our way over to a window.

Cricket was first to look. There was no one in the building from what he could see, but someone certainly had been there. There was an overturned table, and on the ground was a dart of some sort. He ducked back down, and was half-inclined to whistle what he'd seen, but then remembered that these guys couldn't understand him.

Milo: What the hell was going on, where was everyone? Anxiety started to take its hold over me, the instinct to protect my friends kicking in. It was my nature to want to meet whoever disrupted our momentary slice of peace face to face. I turned to Cricket, and could tell he saw the desire in my eyes.

Cricket had a bad feeling about this, and apparently so did Milo. He saw the look in his eyes and shook his head no, they couldn't just burst in there. "Where's a descreet entrance?" He murmered.

Milo: I thought hard, closing my eyes in concentration. There was an attic window, and there were several holes in the floor of the loft, perfect for us to spy down on whoever it was that had invaded our temporary home. The only problem was that it was high off the ground, and no way to reach it came to mind readily. I gestured the opening to Cricket, knowing he would understand.

Cricket nodded and studied the window, then the building next to the bar. The bar wall didn't have much to grab onto, but the neighbor's brick might come in handy...he climbed the brick as nimbly as if he'd done it all his life, then heaved himself on the neighboring roof and leapt across to the bar's attic window. The one good thing about being small: you can do that without making a sound.

Milo: Once Cricket was up, I copied his actions, and hauled myself up to the attic window. I hadn't done it as effortlessly as he had, but I got the job done. We found a gaping hole in the rotting floor, which was the ceiling to the level below, and peered down at the new threat. We listened for any information that could give us the upper hand.
