Jace: "Why? Don't you like the view?"

Tara: I grimaced. "Pervert!"

Jace: "I thought all guys were supposed to act like this?"

Tara: "Not all of them, but of course you would." I rolled my eyes.

Jace: "What's that supposed to mean?"

Tara: "Nothing," I muttered. "No, I don't 'like the view'."

Jace: I smile and open the door to my house. "Fine then. Didn't expect you to." I walk in and motion for her to sit down, then jod up the stairs to get my shirt.

Tara: Okay well maybe that view wasn't half-bad, but - I blinked. Don't think like that, Tara! I sat down on the couch.

Jace: I dug through the floor of the closet looking for something clean. Sighing, I pulled out a flannel shirt...I sighed. Dom had gotten me this. No, wait. Gabriela did and she gave it to Dom to give to me. Throwing it back in the pile, I come up with a t-shirt for Rolling Stones.

Tara: I slid out my phone and boredly texted people.

Jace: I jump down the stairs, landing with a big thump.

Tara: I glanced back at Jace with a smirk. "You couldn't just walk down like a normal person?"

Jace: "I'm not normal, am I?"

Tara: "No, not exactly." I laughed lightly. "You were probably dropped on your head as a baby...just kidding."

Jace: I purse my lips. "I don't know. I've never questioned my parents about it. But maybe you're right." I smile. "Are we still on for the mall?"

Tara: "I was kidding, dear." I rolled my eyes. I called everyone 'dear', by the way. I stood up, sliding my phone into my pocket. "And sure."

Jace: I jump up and down. "We'll have to use your car, obviously."

Tara: I put my hands on his shoulders so he'd stop jumping. "Calm down, it's just the mall."

Jace: "Oh, you think I'm pumped about that?" I frown and stop jumping. "That reminds me..." I run to the kitchen and get my wallet.

Tara: "What else would you be pumped about?" I said in confusion.

Jace: "I don't know. Why can't I be randomly hyper?"

Tara: "Because it makes you seem like a puppy dog and it's annoying."

Jace: I sigh. "You want me to not act like a guy, but you don't want me to act like a guy. I can't be a contradiction, ya know."

Tara: "Alright, fine. You can stay just the way you are. Turns out I like you that way." I smiled.

Jace: "Just the way you are as in..."
