Lol!
Princess takes out her pocket watch and waits. Fifteen seconds. Thirty. One minute. She wondered how long it would take for the girl to run back here complaining.

Ella looked around for an exit. A window, a door...but there was none. Princess would be back soon, and who knows what would happen? She should have taken her earlier chance.

Princess closes her eyes and crosses her legs. Two minutes. Two and a half. Maybe she'll run away, she thinks. But she wouldn't be that stupid, would she?

Robin
How long had we been here? Hours? Days? My stomach growled and protested but I tried my best to ignore it. My head had fogged and cleared periodically, moments of clarity following moments of obscurity and vice versa. But all I could remember was the word Robin.

Then Ella noticed something. A small, baren fireplace in the corner. She quickly scurried to it and peered up the chimney...no cover! But it would be a tight fit. Just barely enough to slip through. What if she got stuck? No time to lose, no time to think. She hoisted her skirts up and started to climb, her fingertips turning white as she held ontot the brick. How much time had passed? She kept going, scraping her arms and legs all the way. Her heart pounded. She heard the shop door open. Only a bit further...

Isadora: The servants come by again, but the woman from before isn't with them. They open up the cages, weapons in hand, and have us walk out into shackles and chains. What's going on?

Robin
My head was throbbing too much to protest, not that it would do much good anyway. Black shaped fluttered at the edges of my vision like bat's wings, but not severe enough that I was on the brink of consciousness. I glanced over at the woman I had spoken to, fear evident in my eyes

Princess slides outside of her carriage. "3:58, 3:59, 4:00." She looked boredly at the building before putting her finger to her mouth and biting hard. When she tastes blood, she let's a drop fall to the ground. "Fetch," she murmurs. Suddenly, her shadow multples and flies like wind through the tailor doors. Princess merely holds onto her hat to keep it from blowing away.

Ella reached sunlight. Success! She used her scraped elbows to pull herself out of the soot and brick, and heaved onto the roof. She suppressed a cough and tried to catch her breath. She had to get out of there before someone noticed her...

The shadows form into wispy forms of dogs, snarling and biting. The storm their way through the shop an up the chimney, noses full if the girl's scent.

Ella gasped and leapt back as a smoky cloud shot out of the chimney, coughing, and then realised in an instant that it wasn't smoke at all. Smoke didn't snarl.

Princess watches the scene from below with half lidded eyes. The dogs move closer, snapping and niping at the girl ravenously. For the first time in a while, her face cracks into a smirk as she remembers the question the child asked her. "How did you get that limp?"

Ella backed away, her heart beating like a mouse's who's been cornered by a cat. They were the strangest things she'd ever seen, yet almost...hypnotizing, beautifully horrible in the worst way. Their jaws snapped and she kept backing away, until she almost stepped out into nothing and felt the edge of the roof at her heels. She looked down to see Princess smirking up at her.

Simply because I miss Gregory's craziness:

Gregory strolled along the street looking up at the sky, seemingly unaware of anyone or anything around him. He somehow managed not to run into anything, and people only watched as he hummed along, walking to nowhere. But then, a shadowy silhouette blocked out the sun. "Pardon me, could you tell your slave lassy to come down? She's very rudely blocking out the sun," he said to the woman standing next to him.
