CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

Sanae
I nod slowly, somewhat distracted by the decisions being made around us.

Annaleah whistled something quickly. It was just about the only whistle-speak she knew, which meant roughly: I'm not looking for a fight; you don't hurt me, I don't hurt you. A few curious faces peered at them as they stepped onto the heart island. "Canary?" A voice said, and Annaleah looked up. Canary? Oh, yeah. Lowlanders liked to give nicknames. A green-eyed girl was sitting on a rooftop, grinning down at them. "Oi! It is you! Thought so, your whistling's a lil' off. What brings you 'ere, lassy?" She slid off the rooftop, inspecting Sanae. "Who's th' girl? You get yourself a posse?"

Sanae
I study the girl. None of her decisions seem to lead to anything bad. I look over to Annaleah, wondering what a posse was. Canary. I smile slightly. The bird is going to be freed today. No more cages.

Annaleah smiled slightly at the girl. "Hello, Winnie," she said. She was about the only person that slightly resembled a friend in these parts. "And posse? Well...more of an accidental friend."

Winnie smirked at Sanae, taking her in like an alleycat looks over a new kitten. Nice hair. Foreigner. "Aye, another one? Risky, walking around looking like that." She cocked her head. That hair. Reminded her of someone she hadn't seen in a while. "Y'know a guy named Cricket by chance?"

Sanae
I shake my head. "I haven't been in these parts yet."

Annaleah frowned a little at the mention of Cricket, but Winnie continued before she could have any more thoughts. "Ah. You've got outlander hair. For a moment I was wondering if you were some long-lost cousin of 'is or something. Where you from, outlander?" Winnie smirked. She didn't see very many new people, but when she did, they were fun to pick on.

Sanae
"A little town in southern Russia" i lie easily. "Not originally from there, though."

"Hm," Winnie said, and whistled something. A few people crept nearer, peering out beneath hats so low it was hard to see their eyes. Some were snickering. These were the more friendly ones, Annaleah knew, they had no intentions to hurt anyone. They were only mischeivously curious. One guy let out a rather loud whistle, and everyone laughed.

Sanae
I look around curiously at them and their whistles. I pause at the last who had done so, study him emotionless.

The guy tipped his hat at her once the snickers and whistles subsided. "Nice t' meet you, Firefly," he concluded.

"It's Sanae," Annaleah said, to no avail. Apparently they'd picked a name for her.

"What type of name is that?"

Sanae
I look over to Annaleah a moment before looking back. "How about Grimm?"

The small crowd errupted into a cacophony of dissaproval, until Winnie broke through it. "Wait a minute. Tha's not bad. Firefly th' Grimm." It was quiet for a moment as they all looked among themselves, and slowly started to agree. Somebody tested the name out. "Firefly Grimm!" and then whistled. It was settled. Annaleah shrugged at Sanae, feeling a slight deja vu. She remembered being named.

Sanae
I give a small smile. It was odd, no doubt. "Why am I a firefly?"

Hey guys! Im alive So, I was thinking I could bring in my girl for you to meet on your adventure?

ps. Im so curious about Cricket and Annaleah's past XD

cool, i dont think I can quite yet, she prob wouldnt be with the crowd ur with right now. youd prob meet her in town.

hm, what type of crowd would she be in? XD I think the street kids are running out of steam anyway

She's not part of your story, it would be weird to force her in yah know? Since she didn't grow up there and doesn't know the street kids. She would be on her own adventure that led her across you guys. Any ideas?
