CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

Cricket: He listens to the sirens, comepletely silent, waiting.

(Where'd'ya dissapear to, buddy? *poof* you were gone just like that.)

(sorry...my computer was acting up...)

(Oh it's okay where were we?)

(hmmm...)

Jess: I whispered over to Ami, "The trees say that they're on the path but aren't looking in the forest."
Ami: I nodded slowly. It was too early to tell...

Cricket: He raised an eyebrow and whispered, "you talk to trees?"

Jess: "They are living things. Technically everything can talk, we just don't listen well enough. And i am a chlorokinetic."
Kimmi: "Shhh!"

Cricket: He perks up, listening.

Emily: I had to stifle a laugh. His expression was just too gosh darn hilarious.

Cricket: He shot Emily a look and stuck his tongue out at her before walking silently one wall of the plant fortress. He listened some more, and gestured to Jess. "What's out there now?" He murmered.

Jess: i cocked my head to the side. "Crap...."
Kimmi: "What?"
Jess: "They're getting dogs."
Emily: "Should that be a problem? We haven't moved since we landed here."
Ami: "True..."
Emily: "I could ice us in and prevent our scents from going out."
Kimmi: "Worth a shot i guess."
Ami: i nodded. "Alright." Emily focused and around us an dome formed over us. Everything turned blue from being filtered through the ice. The air cooled. "Just don't breathe too much because we now have a limited supply of air."
Kimmi: "That sounds wonderful..."

Cricket: "Wait, wait...I think I heard someone I know out there...lemme out, I want to try something."

Jess: "is he crazy? You wanna take on a dozen or so police with dogs by yourself?"
Kimmi: 'He's officially lost it. Perhaps its the record time for cabin fever."
Ami: "What is it? What do you have in mind?"

Cricket: He tried to look through the ice. "Nothing, just when I was out there...I heard something. Open up the ice for a second, I've just got to...to make sure I'm not crazy, you know," he said.

Emily: "We already think your crazy."
Ami: I shook my head. It was obvious he wouldn't listen to reasoning. "Fine. do it Ems."
Emily: I gave her a doubtful look before making a doorway in the ice. "There you go."

Cricket: He smirked. "Like I 'aven't heard that before," he said, and went through the ice door to get close to the tree wall. He let out three shrill whistles, and waited. A faint whistle answered back, and he flashed a half-smile.

Suddenly, he appeared inside the ice again. "Make a doorway through the trees," he said excitedly, "make it quick!" And he dissapeared again.

Jess: I literally v-8 slapped myself as i waved a hand and a clearing appeared in the trees. He was bent on getting us caught. I swear if he did....I'd go plant physio on him and make the trees play ping pong with him.

Cricket: He dissapeared into the doorway. Hasty whispers are heard. Cricket runs back in, and yanks another kid in after him, grinning. "What're you doing 'ere?"

"I don'know, I got bored waitin' for ya so I followed!"

"Crazy bastard, now these guys think I'm insane 'cause 'o you! One o' these days you're gonna be the death of me!" Cricket turned to the others, who were staring at him like he was from outer space. "You can close it now," he said. "Supernatural tree-talking people, meet Finn. Finn, meet tree-talking people."

Finn: He noticed everyone else for the first time. He was slightly taller than Cricket, thin as a skeleton with shaggy blonde hair and so many freckles that you can hardly see his face. A raven flutters in behind him and lands on his shoulder. "Ah...'ello..." he says, and points to the raven. "Develyn. I'm Finn. Nice t' meet you." He grins.

Jess: "Hey! Only one of us is a supernatural tree-talker." I waved my hand again and the gap in the trees closed.
Emily: "Right. Don't demote us to her level." I also waved my hand and the ice door closed up.
Jess: "He - oh what's the point...i should be used to this by now..."
Kimmi: "That's right." I slung an arm around her shoulder and chuckled. "Naaa...jkjk. We love you, girl."
Ami: Mo flies up from my arms and goes to investigate the raven. I, too, am curious at it. All i've seen are crows, but this was a bigger black bird. I stared at the new comer and his bird as he stared at Mo and I: complete confusion and wonder...maybe a bit of fear.

(sorry I got kicked off the computer so I'm now typing on my phone, which is slower and doesn't have an indent ) FINN: His eyebrows raised. "What the heck is the blob?" CRICKET: "Watch out. It's a nice blob until you make it mad. Aren't you, Mo?" He grinned.

Ami: Mo chimed happily as he inspected the bird closely. The bird didn't seem bothered by him though. Mo usually had that affect with animals though. they were all pretty chill about him. I walked closer. "Can i touch it?"
emily: "Ami, it's a raven. I don't know about how nice it can be."
Jess: "I've heard they make pretty good pets though. They're very smart. They can even learn a tune or two if you repeat it long enough."

FINN: He scratched around Develyn's neck, as if reasurring it. "Ah sure, you can try. She don't like Cricket for some reason though, not sure 'bout other people." CRICKET: He eyed the raven and nodded. "Doesn't like me? The thing tries to bite my fingers off!"

Ami: I smiled at Finn and reached a hand up. She eyed me with those black beads before clicking her beak. Mo came around and hugged my arm, his yellow orbs concerned half circles. He chimed at the raven and then lead my hand up and i stroked the bird's shinny feathers. I laughed a little. "Thank you." It was a combination to Mo, the raven, and Finn.

FINN: He grinned toothily. "Welcome, Miss. Ain't everyday she just sits like that and lets some'ne touch 'her, 'cept me."

Ami: I laughed again.
Kimmi: "My god, it was as if she just touched the pope or something."
Ami: I turned with a confused expression. "The what?"
Emily: "Nevermind." I clamped my hand over Kim's mouth before she could say anything and then recoiled in disgust as she licked my palm. "That's GROSS!"
Kimmi: I laughed. "Hey, your fault."
Emily: "So evil...."

Cricket and Finn laughed in unison. FINN: "Not tryin' to be rude--'cause that just happens anyway--but why the outfits? You all look like fairies or elves or something." CRICKET: "'Eh, you're the one to talk. You look like a chimney sweep who combed his hair with a rake and i look like that plus more.
