Pauly yipped ((yipped?!?)) again and licked the boy's hand again. THIS one didn't seem to hate him...

Benny: "Good. So... now that I found out about Mo, I have to wonder if you're really here to tour..."

Finn: his gaze flicked to Bennie, wondering if he had the right to tell. "Me, now? Well...me, I'm jus' along for th' ride, so I s'pose I'm 'ere t' tour."

Benny: "And the others?"

Finn: he looked up again, thinking. "I s'pose you should know. You'll find out anyhow. Aw, Crick's gonna kill me for this...but I s'pose you should know, really, you know about Mo an' all..." he cut himself off and raise an eyebrow. "You really wan' t' know?"

Benny: "Yes. But if it'll get you in trouble I'll just ask the group tomorrow."

Finn: "Then you won' get an answer. Not from th' girls, anyway...but I can tell you about Crick. I'm warning you, though, you're not gon' be able t' sleep soundly after you hear it."

Benny: "I can't sleep soundly anyway, I have an alien in my house."

Finn: "A'right." He paused. "You might 'ave figured it out, but Cricket's a thief."

Benny: I pursed my lips. "Really?"

Finn: he smirked and nodded. "Off duty right now, mind you. Don' get all excited there."

Benny: "Off duty? His job is stealing?" Oh, che diavolo mi hanno cacciato?

Finn: "In a sense, but 'ey, 'e only does it 'cause it's all 'e's ever known! Papa stole, Uncle stole..." he named them off on his fingers. "It's not jus' a job where we come from, i's survival. If you knew Crick you'd know that otherwise, he don' hurt a fly. He's th' type o' guy that if you ask 'im to swat a fly an he'll say, why? I's not hurting anybody. He's the type o' guy that gets into fights, but is never the one to throw the first punch, or th' second. He's no threat t' you. So don' go calling police, or whatever you call 'em in Italy."

Benny: "I wont, s'long as I don't wake up in the morning and find myself robbed and you lot gone. So. Cricket's running from the police or something?"

Finn: "Not at th' moment." He was actually supposed to be back home with the gang, now that he'd escaped France. "Got t' get away sometimes, y'know?"

Benny: "Right... Now..." Ugh. This'll destroy this month's paycheck, but to hell with money. "Do you guys need tickets back?"

Finn: he cocked an eyebrow, wondering if he'd heard correctly. "I don' get you."

Benny: "I'm asking if you guys need someone to pay for your flight back to AMerica."

Finn: "I know. I jus' find it odd. You've got an alien that could blow up this place, for all you know, and a thief who could rob everthing you've worked for, if he wanted to. So instead of taking th' easy way and kicking 'em out, you offer t' pay a fortune for their plane tickets."

Benny: I shrugged. "It gets you out of my house," I joked with a grin. "But seriously. I get a huge check every month, not to brag, so this won't be much."

Finn: he smiled. "Thank y' kindly, but we've got other means of transportation. Who need planes?"

Benny: "Alright then." Save me.

Cricket's voice sounded from the stairs. "So you've got two secrets down, then, thanks t' Finn? Might want t' get some sleep, you've got a few more t' go." Finn's head snapped to the staircase, where Cricket had snuck to, now reclining against the steps. He hated it when Cricket did that.

Pauly barked at the sudden presence, but calmed down when he saw a recognizable face.

Benny: Instinctively, I patted Pauly's head and sighed. "Well then. Good night." I got up abruptly, and walked up to my room, Pauly on my heels.

(that's a good place to stop, don't you think? XD haha that was a good chat)
