At that question, Cricket whistled here we go again. Finn smirked. Ah, that touchy backstories. He stayed quiet, determined to stay far away from that subject.

I'm at drama so I'll be a lil erratic. Anywho. Wanna do something with Brawne and Crooks?

Hmm okay. I'm going to set building in a bit so the same applies to me

Crooks decides to use Brawne for a chore? Brawne is expected to die, but he pulls through and Crooks thenhinks he's worth having around...?

hmm, a suicide mission, i like hmm...spying can be very dangerous if you get caught

So itll be...two weeks later. Crooks decides to test him out, finds him somehow...or he just calls to him. Lets say Crooks told him to come when he hears a certain whistle.

Brawne stirred in the straw filled box that served as his bed in a puddle filled alley. He pulled his coat up to his chin and settled into a fetal position. It was a fairly comfortable night, the rain had left the air muggy and the damp wrapped around him like an old quilt.

Crooks strolled through his crumbling and damp domain, like an alleycat at night. He broke the silence with an echoeing whistle.

Ami
"Created in Area 51 to be a weapon. But they never told me why the world needed the destruction they said it did, so i left to find out for myself. I ended up at the Institution, to escape the agents that chased me." I pause, thinking back. "They found out about me, but they wanted to use me for good. Make cures, help people...and i accepted. So the first trials were brought in and the others got their powers. And then the Institute realized the profit of us once an agent managed to find us. They planned to sell us back, so we all escaped from there."

That was some high technology on this plane to engineer a human being with powers. I wondered how they worked, and how it tied into souls. It was clear that she wasn't an "it," because she did have a soul. I also wondered what would happen if she were to become a bonder. Theoretically, she should get her bonder powers on top of her regular ones.
"Eentehresteeng. But how did you come about? You seem to 'ave two pehrsonaleeties, so what chreated zem?"

Ami
"I don't know...I just sort of happened..." I think a moment. "The Institution treated me so differently from 51. I don't think Ayakashi knew how to react to people caring, because that was around when i came about."

Cricket cocked his head. "So people caring brings out Ami...I'll keep that in mind next time." He wondered what would happen if Ayakashi took over completely, but someone still cared. Would Ami still be gone?

This was leading me to believe that perhaps Ami wasn't the real one after all. Then again, I still wasn't too sure. The effect of multiple personalities on souls was still a gray area. In fact, what I said before was just theory. Sometimes, souls themselves even split to accommodate the different personalities of the person. The question now was if Ami and Ayakashi had split, separate souls. If that were the case, then they would both be "real." At least, I think so. Like I said, it's a gray area.

*presses magical bring-people-back button*

"And yet she's coming back," i say, knowing the direction Cricket was thinking. "I'm not sure if that's enough anymore."

Cricket sighed. He wasn't sure how kind he could be towards Ayakashi, even if it would help. Neutral? Maybe. "It's worth a shot," he said. The worst Ayakashi could do it return was laugh. He was used to that. And perhaps try to hurt him, but she would do that anyhow, aye?

My horse soul trotted over to the wolf's side, walking closely enough that her legs were brushing its torso. I began to pick up Ami's stray thoughts, an effect of having souls touch. I knew she couldn't hear my own thoughts because she wasn't a bonder. Besides, even if she could hear them, she wouldn't be able to understand them; they were in French.

I turn towards him a moment. "If you do, i have to warn she may react negatively. She doesn't like pity and isn't one up to small talk."

hmmm...two personalities, two souls i suppose. And she would understand because she's omnlingual (understands and speaks all languages)
