CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

Cricket slumped to the ground and swallowed a gulp of air. Precious, sacred air...before using the convenient moment in which Ayakashi was focusing on Milo to hit her in the back of the knees, causing her to fall. "Don't...do that," he breathed.

My head hit hard and i gasp, spots across my vision, a moment of weakness.
"M - Milo...more than care..."
I rub the back of my head,sitting up again with a hiss, forcing Ami down again.

Maybe we just need to knock her out, Cricket thought, and began to stand. But he didn't want to hurt Ami...

More than care? What did that mean? I didn't have much time to figure it out since ayakashi was up on her feet and heading in my direction.

Cricket thought fast and made her fall again. "Milo! Maybe we 'ave t' knock 'er out."

"that's seems to work, but do really wanna bash her over the head every time she changes? Let's find a different way here, where theres no one else to endanger."

Brawne and Crooks?

A middle aged man stepped out in front of Brawne with his back facing him. Brawne stood perfectly still, silent as the grave his mother rested in. The police man shuffled along and the glint and clink of keys caught Brawne's eye. Those could be useful, they could.

The man stopped suddenly. "Wait a minute..." he grumbled, and began to turn around.

Brawnes heart jumped to his throat as the man turned around and he dove into the room from where he entered. He summersaulted to muffle the noise. He slapped his hand over his mouth so that the man wouldn't hear his labored breathing.

The man knocked on the closed door behind him. " 'ey! Bernard, where'd you put th' coffee?"

A muffled voice said, "What?"

"The coffee! Where'd you put that new brand?" The man said impatiently.

"In the cupbourd."

"Which one?"

"What'd you mean, which one? The same one!"

The man grumbled something and shouted back, "Show me, will you?"

The man behind the door cursed and walked out of his office. "You're useless. C'mon." They walked down the hall, leaving the door open. There was a locked file cabinet inside.

When the heavy steps of the men turned around the corner Brawne slipped out of the dark room and into the one the men had exited. He walked through, examining each cabinet. He choose one at random, and jiggled the handle. No good. His sharp eyes caught sight of a set of keys set carelessly on a desk. He snatched them up and opened the cabinet. Fingering through the documents he searched for 9-11 or any other piece that would interest crooks. Finding the paper with a yelp of satisfaction he folded it up, and stuck it in his pocket along with the keys. Turning to leave he ran into something soft and squishy. Stumbling backwards he saw a startled police man, who dropped his coffee in surprise.

They just stared at each other for a second, standing in the coffee, and then the man glanced at the open file cabinet in the room. "Shit!" When he looked back to grab the boy he was already gone. "Theif!" He dashed to a lever on the wall and pulled it, sounding an alarm. He followed the wet, brownish footprints down the hall, getting closer. He pulled a gun out of his belt as several other, more sturdy men dashed out to see what was going on. "Run, and we hold the right to shoot!"

Brawne dashed down the steps, taking two at a time and practically flying through the arch that led out into the main entry way. His ears popped as gun-fire sounded behind him. He skid around the nearest corner throwing his hands up over his head for cover. "Come on out lad!" a gruff voice called put, echoing in the cold hallway.

SORRY! My step father decided to play electrician and cut the wrong wire =.=

"Would /you/ cut that out?!" I snap at Cricket, hitting the floor again. My eyes flash dangerously.

The voice grew nearer, slow and threatening. "Ready or not, here I come," it taunted. "Come out now, give back what you took, and you'll go free. Otherwise I'll shoot you." The man whirled around the corner and gunfire echoed, but it only made a hole in the wall. He looked down the next hall and saw a scrawny boy running for his life. He kept his gun raised and chased him to a dead end.

Bwahaha xD That's great.

"No," Cricket said matter-of-factly before looking at Milo. "And what do you propose then, Einstein?"

I growl at him, my smile gone, and flick my hand towards at him. Cricket flies, gets pinned up against the wall. "What should i break first then? An arm, a leg maybe? How about a rib into your lung?"

Brawne's heart beat like a small birds, a thousand miles a minute. He took deep breaths trying to think of a way out of this. The whole thing was surreal. The overweight policeman, gun raised at his face, the keys digging into his thigh from the inside of his pocket, and...and the large door that stood behind the police man. The exit. Brawne looked up at the gray-haired man before diving between his legs and sprinting for freedom.

Milo tackled Aykashi "Give me a minute yeah?" Milo cried frustrated parying the wild girls attack.

Cricket hit the wall hard, his vision spotting for a moment, and then the numb shock went away as pressured pain replaced it. "You...really...need a better hobby." He said painstakingly, letting his hair fall into his face.
