Jude:
"Jude just say what you want to say. You know her, she won't be angry."
"Amy that's crazy. I need to plan it out... Or else it'll seem like I don't mean it. Cmon amy, I need something useful. You always knew what to say." I pleaded, looking at her, begging for help.
"Jude!"
"Youve never even met her."
"I know."
"i wish you had."

Ember: "What the hell jason?! Why are you here?!" I snapped at him.
"going to school." he shrugged and i groaned.
"Why do you keep followign me?" I tried to calm down...that failed. "Im still mad at you, and i probably alwasy will be. you left me there, with him and you didnt even bother coming back. I could have died with him." I heard someone walk down the hall and i shut up.

Iliana:There he was again, talking to this "Amy". Who was she, anyway? His imaginary friend? I knew Jude was different, but I didn't know he was insane. Then I heard him say something about Amy never having met this person they were speaking of. And how he wished Amy had. Oh, they must be talking about Ember. There was no way Jude would ever want one of his friends to meet me. There was nothing that made me special, as I had thought before. Ember was talented and pretty and smart...how could I compete with that? Yes, Jude must be talking about Ember, I decided.

Corrigan: I slipped inside the door, only to see Ember and that guy staring at me. Had I intruded on something? Guess so, but I had never been good with manners. I walked across the room and started in on one of the computers. "Don't mind me, I'm just fixing these."

Jude:
"If you had met her, you'd know she was different. She's not a girly girl, she has respect for herself." I smiled as I talked about Iliana, told Amy all about my best friend.
"So you like her?"
"Amy, you're twelve." I rolled my eyes. "God you've grown."
"Pun intended?"
"No."
"So... You like this Iliana?"
I thought about that.
"Yeah. Yeah, I like her."

Ember: "Its fine....I just came in here to relax a bit." I shot Jason a look that told him to get lost. He sighed but left.
"Later Emmi." I sat down at a piano and sighed. I needed to watch when i went off like that...someone could find out.

Iliana:He had just admitted that he liked whoever he was talking about, probably Ember, though I didn't know for sure since I couldn't hear "Amy"'s part of the conversation. Though the part about not being a girly girl fit me more than Ember. Still even if he liked whoever they were talking about, that could mean anything. He had mentioned something about Amy having grown, and being twelve. Twelve year olds had very different perspectives than our age people.
This conversation was actually beginning to concern me more than amuse me. Jude obviously thought he was talking to a real person. But there was no one there. He must have felt really horrible to have had this bad of a mental breakdown. What if...what if there was something wrong with Jude's brain? The thought upset me. Jude was healthy and whole, not fit for some sort of insane asylum.

Corrigan:"So that was the famed Jason, huh?" I asked offhandedly, submerged in fixing the computers. Whoever had hacked into the program had some skill. I had to actually think about to fix this one. That was a first.

Ember: "having trouble there?" I asked him, trying to avoid the jason topic.

Corrigan:"No, I'm fine thanks. Besides, I don't need help from someone who doesn't even clear their tracking cookies." I smirked, purposely not pressing her for an answer. I really didn't care all that much, anyway, I was focused on fixing these computers.

Ember: "Last time i checked, I did clear them." I pointed out, smiling lightly. "Mind if i play?" I asked him.

Jude: I sighed as I got to the most confusing part. "She thinks I like Ember. And if she ever finds out that I keep you around, shell think I'm crazy."
"Ember?"
"Yeah, she's nice. But she's not..."
"Not Iliana?"
"Yeah."
"Jude?" amys voice was concerned, and I looked at her, worried. "You know I'm not really here?"
I nodded slowly. "You died in my hands. Of course your not really here. But can't I imagine?"
"Of course. Jude..."
"What?"
"Tell Iliana."
"I will.... Somehow."

Iliana:Okay, so this girl they were speaking of...wasn't Ember? And this girl would find Jude crazy? Both of those descriptions fit me, to a certain extent. But Jude was my best friend, this just seemed altogether unreal. Maybe I was dreaming. Maybe I would wake up tomorrow and it would have all been a dream: Dissecting the frog, fighting with Jude, Jude talking to himself. Jude possibly admitting as to who he liked. I'd wake up and all of it would be gone. But if this were a dream, then I knew I'd regret waking up from it.
Then I realized I had skipped over an important part of this conversation. Jude had said something about Amy dying in his own hands. Crap, was Jude an insane murderer? That thought made my eyes widen. Jude wasn't the type to kill...was he?

(Sorry I'm drawing this out so much, but this would be Iliana's train of thought. And I'm doing this to develop my character. So if you're ccing for the same reason, then this is probably helping for fleshing out points of Jude's story, right?)

Jude:
"Amy, I'm sorry. I couldve done so much more to protect you. You... You shouldn't have gone with me." I told her, my eyes wideneing. If I hadn't given in and let her come with me to that stupid walgreens across the street from our old apartment, she could still be alive. She could REALLY be here. All she did was roll her eyes.
"Jude, please. It was a freak thing. No one controls drive-by shootings."
"BS amy, pure bullsh*t." I knew I shouldn't swear in front of 'her', I knew swearing was bad and I hated it. But now I was angry. I'd sworn maybe... Twice in my 18 years of life? Even Iliana gets shocked when I drop say a minor say, like bullsh*t. "Those drunken fools in that freaking car shouldve died."
"Jude! Jude that's not like you at all! Stop, take it back. I don't want that brother. And mom always said swearing was bad!"
"i know, I know, you're right." I ran a hand through my hair. "I take it back, I'm ot the type of person who says that...."

Oh, and I'm developing Jude too, so no worries.

Iliana: My eyes widened when I heard Jude cuss, it wasn't like him at all. And that was twice today. The other time was when he had been upset with me. Now I could tell he was probably upset with Amy. Something to do with drunk driving and not being able to protect her. I could tell Jude's mental health was going, no crashing, downhill. Could I stop it? I had to try. "Jude?"

Oh okay, haha. A lot of times I write these big long paragraphs, and then some one only writes a one-liner in return, and I think how much time I just wasted giving them so much detail. If only all c.cers were aiming to actually develop their characters *sigh*

Iliana:"Hi..." I took a cautious step into the room. How exactly do you talk to an insane person, I wondered? Or a possible murderer, for that matter? I had learned in my training that if you came upon someone breaking into your house, or headquarters in some cases, to ask them question after question and slowly back up, leading them out of the building. Maybe the same principle applied here? I could ask Jude something simple, and work my way back to the questions he might be expecting. "So, uh, what are you up to?" I looked around the empty class room, wondering if Jude would tell me he had been talking to his imaginary friend or if he'd try to make it sound like he had an excuse to be here.

Jude: I sighed heavily through my nose. "dont think I'm insane. And don't judge. No one outside my family knew her. My cousins, obviously my parents, we all knew her. But none of my friends. Okay?" I couldn't bare to lose her because of this, so I looked iliana right in the eyes. I knew if she wouldnt lie. But I don't think she would... "Please. I'm ot crazy."

Iliana:"I...I do think you're a little insane right now, Jude. But I don't know the full story, so I can't really come to much of a conclusion." Then I smiled a small, sad smile. "And it's a little sad to me, that you think I'd judge you that quick."

Jude: "'S not very fair, either. So do you want the full story? I must warn you: you might actually see me cry. I haven't ried in... Eight years...." I looked at her with pleading eyes. "Im not insane. I know she's not here, I understand that. She's sort of become my conscience... I guess..."
