Michael: "Screw this. Wanna grab coffee later?"

Devany: I almost cracked a smile and then let out a quiet sight. "Really? I mean, sure." I said, kind of dumbfounded.

Michael: "Why so shocked? Did I not just admit I found you very interesting?" I smiled at her, waiting for an answer. "Your hair is extremely amusing."

Devany: I cocked a brow at him. "Amusing?" i laughed, pulling a strand down and then watching it spring back up.

Michael: "I have never seen anyone with hair as curly as yours."

Devany: "I get questions asking if I've ever gotten a perm." I said. "But, it's natural." I smiled. "It's a bit much, though."

michael: I shrugged. "Meh. I find it fun." I picked up a curl and pulled gently, laughing when it bounced back up.

Devany: "Well thank you." i said. I glanced at a clock that hung high above the lockers and cursed under my breath. "Um, I'm late. I mean, I'll see you later." i said, waving as i walked down the hall.

Michael: I grabbed her elbow. "What class?"

Devany: I let out a breath as he hooked my elbow. "I have art right now." I said quietly.

Michael: I smiled and swore. "I have Science. Oh, well. Hey, meet me by my locker after school and we'll grab that coffee, kay?" I let go of her elbow and smile, my white teeth showing, before turning and walking down the hall.

Iliana:"Jude, this isn't about Ember, okay?" I sighed and closed my eyes a second before opening them back up to look in a frustrated way at Jude. "We're talking about you and your Amy-hallucination-thing. Weren't you like this before? Nice and everything? Before you had to have Amy here to reassure you? Because I bet that if your sister were here than she'd want you to be happy and healthy. Even if it meant not pretending she was here. If you can act this way for your sister then this must be how you really are. Even if you don't think you can be a good person on your own, you can. And you have the support of all your friends and your parents."

"Whatever," I say, mumbling a few other things along with it. How could someone excuse themsels? I've always wondered that. I looked down at my book in the middle of the hallway, getting stopped on. And it wasn't just a book, it was my journal. I didn't need anyone seeing what was in there. I jumped for it. Bairley grabbing it before it was picked up by someone else. I look up.

Will: You got a diary?" I looked at him with confusion: by first gllane you wouldn't think he was one to 'write his feelings down.'

I thought for a quick change as for what it would be. "It's not a diary. It's a.... book... where I write... songs. Ya, songs for my... band." That was pretty good if you asked me.

Will: I raised my eyebrows. "Band name?"

Jude: "Im not saying I would be bad! But... I might not be as nice, as sensitive, as respectful. You might not even be my friend." I realized how wrong that sounded. 'I mean, I'd probably be mixed with the wrong people. I'd have a different girl on my arm every week. I like who I am. Amy's showed me that, and I guess now she's gone." to clarify, I added: "for good."
And I like you Iliana. God I wish I could say that...

Iliana: I pulled away completely, disgusted with what he had just said. "I'd be your friend, anyway, Jude. I wouldn't just ditch you because you were having a rough time. If that were the case then I wouldn't be standing here right now. A different girl every week, really?" I laughed, trying to lighten the mood a little bit.

"We're the.." I look around the hallway. "Lanolium Bandits. Kind of a secret, ya." That made sence, because of owr stupid name.

Jude: "Hey, I'm not being conceited. It's a huge possibility. Name one girl you know who wouldn't go out with me if I asked." I smiled and shifted in my seat, resting my elbows on my knees, looking up at her with my eyes. "Sit." I pulled a seat from the desk and motioned for her to take it.
Was I being concieted? I mean, we always joked about this, but... maybe it was only that-a joke? But I saw the stares, the gawks, the immediate whispers an giggles when I walked by or smiled.

Will: I looked at him, puzzled... "The... Linolium bandits? Really?" That was the strangest-and quote possibly the stupidest- band name I've ever heard. "alright then..." I shrugged. "Whats your genre?"

What was with the details? God danm, was I being interogated for a crime I probubly commited? "We're... Indea rock. And, umm, we also do some, uhh, we do, just Indea."

Will: I snorted at his unsureness ((is that a word?)). "So, the Lanolium bandits ((omg I found that HIlarious)) play Indie rock? Can I see or hear a song?"

Iliana: I sat down in the chair across from Jude, glad the focus was off of his dead sister. Now I could go back to being my usual, less serious self. I rolled my eyes. "For real Jude?" I sighed and thought about it for a second, coming up with nothing. "Ms.Dettler, the science teacher." I smirked. Ms.Dettler was the overweight, old, stooped teacher with the wart on her nose. Actually, if it weren't for the obvious rules against it, she probably would go out with Jude. He'd probably be the first guy she'd ever gone out with. Poor old hag.

Jude: I rolled my eyes. "Hags don't count, funny." (('funny' is a name he calls people, in case that's confusing.)) "I mean girls. Like you and ember.' and you. I thought. Gah, do I like her this much? Really? I feel like a fourteen year old girl....

Iliana:"Oh" I look down at my feet, pretending to come up with a girl that wouldn't go out with Jude. When in reality I just didn't want him to see what his mentioning me did to me. Gave me butterflies, as cliche as it sounds. "Um,
maybe...I don't know, but I'm sure there's someone. You couldn't be everyones' idea of Mr. Perfect, could you?" I smirked, he'd know I was joking. Even though it was probably true. Not every girl in this school had a crush on Jude, did they? Or did they? Jude seemed to think so. "Like, the cheer leaders. They don't know you well enough, so they'd probably say no." No, even they would probably say yes, I thought.
