CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

(Hmm idk. I suppose we should continue that though.)
Hmm...forgot where we left off.

Ami
It's nice, comforting. It makes the terror go away. But i shake my head, float up out of his grasp even if it makes the pain throb harder. I take his hand and take Sparrow's, put them on each other's hearts. I swallow hard, feel an emotional pain so much more worse then the physical before turning and going out of the room.

Kim
I stick my tongue out again. "Emily would probably kill me anyways."

Sparrow:
I stood deathly still and watched him pick her up to carry her away, not even looking at me. I guess it's done. "But of course," I breathed as he began to walk away.
"I can see I was mistaken." I spoke quietly, my cheeks hot. My insides hot. Ami got up and left by her own will, and then it was silent again. I pulled my hand away.
My eyes pricked dangerously and my mouth pulled desperately at the corners. I didnt want to cry in front of Cricket or Milo, so I shuffeled out and padded quietly to my room, not even bothering to close the door as the sobs shook and over took me.

Ami
I go for the broken window, fly out and to the roof again. I give out then, collapsing into the snow. I curl my fingers into the snow. Cold. It numbs the physical. The emotional doesn't go away...

Milo's hand reached up, massaging the back of his neck, running up the length of his head, before dropping dis-heartedly at his side. His hair was a deisheveled mess, odd ends stick up around his face. Navy blue peeked out from under the couch in the form of his crumpled shirt. He stood quietly for a moment before he brushed past Cricket acknowledging him with a dip of his head and a sloemn "Excuse me, mate."
He sauntered over to Sparrow's doorframe, hitching his elbow up on the right side. He burried his face in its crook tiredly.

"So what's youhr stohry?" I inquired. "Eef you don't mind my askeeng, zat ees."

Kim
I look over. "Well, me and Emily got a summer job at the Institute thanks to my brother. We stumbled upon the testing roomed, got zapped, and came out with powers." I didn't really like the rest of that tale...

Sparrow:
I coughed and wiped my nose on my sleeve. "Ami just threw herself out a window. You should go save her again. Wouldn't want anything bad to happen to our little atomic bomb would we?" I sniffled bitterly.

Cricket watched Milo go, and suddenly found himself alone in the room. Suddenly everything was deafeningly quiet, except for the slow tick tick of a clock on the wall. He sighed, whistled a solemn tune to himself as he walked through the hall. He brushed past the girls still in the living room and out the door. The cold shock of white, bright snow hit him like a wall. He walked without a care to where he was going, just as long as he was alone.

Finn nodded. "As for me, there isn't much t' tell. I won't bore you with th' story."

Milo shook his head and slid down the length of the frame, sitting in the opening with his hands tangled in the hair at his temples."I'm sorry."

Sparrow:
"Of course you are. What else would you be after a show like that? Now that I've made you feel all sorry for me, suddenly making out with Ami doesnt seem like such a great idea. What a shocker." I stood up and turned to face him.

"What eef I'd like to 'eahr eet?" I asked with a smile.

Finn cocked an eyebrow. "But honestly, there's not much t' tell. For as long as I can remember I've been a streetrat, no name, no family 'cept Cricket. End of story."

Where'd everybody go?

Cricket found himself in an alley with a fire escape above him, tall graffitied walls on both sides. The sun was fading away now. Most of the apartment windows around were dim, except for one, and he wondered if whoever was in there with the light on was having a better time than he was. He hoped so. He continued to whistle as he suddenly leaped up and grabbed the fire escape ladder, nimbly pulling himself up and climbing to the top as if he'd been doing it all his life. Well, he had. It was cool and calm and fresh on the rooftop. He stood on the edge in the snow, looking out.

*is very alone*

*is bored*

You know what that means! Breaking the forth wall time! *crowd cheers* Now, who is our lucky guest today? *drumroll* Crrrrrrriiiiiiiiicket White! Coooomme on down!

Cricket: *waves camera away* Go away.

*frowns* What a soursport. *Grins and flashes gameshow lights and shoves a microphone in his face* Cricket! You just bore witness to your friends' relationships being torn apart at the seams by poor decisions and betrayal. How does it feel?

Cricket: *puts a hand over the camera lense* Like deja vou. Now go away before I get mad and say things to you that would 'ave t' be sensored out of public television.

*uses different camera* And this sense of deja vou; what cirumstances have you seen before that might be giving you those feelings today?

Cricket: *gives a sad look, turns and walks to other side of the roof*

*frowns and turns to the camera* Live from whatever random rooftop this is. I'm Jacky K, signing out.

Ami
Maybe i'll finally die. It certainly felt like it; a gaping hole in my chest, consuming, dousing, bleeding, only not physically there. It hurts. It hurts so much. Why? Why is it there? Where did it come from? How does it go away?

For some reason or another, Cricket looked down. And it was in that moment that something caught his eye; a speck in the snow, a block or so down. By Angel's house. Which could only mean it was Ami. He sighed and backed away from the edge of the roof, leaving messy footprints in the snow like ink on paper.

Ami
It plays in my head. Over, over, over, coupled with the memories. Take a look back on my life...see how many care for me. How many would take a bullet for me... How many would? Kim, Emily, Jess, Sarah...I ruined their lives. I made them fugitives. I made them weapons. To destroy. "Take it away," i whimper raspy. "I don't want to hurt anymore." I cough, red speckles the snow. Maybe i'll bleed out and finally die.
