CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

Finn shrugged, smile fading just slightly. "Like I said, I've been on th' streets for as long as I can remember. Woke up one day in some old building, 'ead 'urt like crazy, realised I'd lost my memory."

Sparrow:
Pick a damn side kid. You're flip-flopping so fast my stomach is doing backflips.
I narrowed my eyes at him, brimed with stinging water. "Now who's deluding me?" I said in a low voice.

Winter....

"God Spar, what do I have to do to show you I care for you?" Milo shook his head, exasperated.

Ami
I'm quiet, laying back in the snow to look up at the stars. I hear them downstairs. "Only human..." I echo silently. It's an odd excuse to me. Of course your only human, you are human.

(echoe silently? Does that mean she thought it, or did she say it out loud?)
Cricket leaned against the wall, crossing his arms in front of his chest to block out the cold. His smile vanished, and with that came a sense of relief. Relief from pretending. He was tired of smiling when everyone else around was crying and yelling and hating everyone they were closest to. It was exhausting. But if he wasn't smiling, then he might just frown, and he was even more so tired of that. Why did everyone have to be so set on tearing good apart? He quietly whistled to himself a tune that had been engrained in his memory, Look at the bright side... and wondered if it was worth it.

Sparrow:
I pulled my arm from his grip. I opened my mouth, "Why dont you go-" and closed it again. I had to stop sucker punching people when they try to help me.
"I don't know what you want me to say." I answered numbly

Ami
I glance over quietly, studying him a moment. "What went wrong?"

Toxic: ^ooh, was that a slight growth in character I just saw?

"I don't..." Milo started off forcefully, before he looked up at the ceiling and started over. "I don't want you to say anything." The room was itching with tension. "I just want you to give yourself a fighting chance. At being happy."

Cricket stopped whistling. He stared down numbly at the fallen snow. That was a question he didn't like to answer. "Many things...but th' real question is, what went right." And there it was again. He shook his head. It was almost automatic now, saying things like that.

Ami
My eyes go unfocused, i look away. "Nothing feels right."

Sparrow:
I wanted to tell him I dont know how. But that's a stupid thing to say, and I have no intention of furthering the Sparrow Pity Party. Plus thats not entirely true. Every one knows how. It's just about who has the opportunity and who doesnt.
"Why do you care so much? I'm horrible to you; I'm horrible to everyone."

Cricket was quiet, then sighed. He slid down the wall. "No, no it doesn't."

Ami
I let a silence press down on us. "You're going to get sick." I float up, and take his hand, fly down to the broken window and lead him in. I give his hand a slight squeeze before letting it go. "Thank you, Cricket," i say quietly. I turn and walk back to the couch, curl up under the blanket again. Emily and Sarah stay quiet. They know, but they know not to talk. Not just yet.

"I honestly don't know. I just do." He smirked. "As you so kindly pointed out, I take action first, think later."

Sparrow:

FMLFMLFMLFMLFMLFMLFML Whhhhhyyyyyyyyyy did I have to want to hug him after being so fucking frustrated with him.
But it felt like the air had thined. I was suddenly light headed and exhausted with being angry, tired of crying, and weary of being mad at him.

But I was almost positive he was still frustrated with me. How much of a fuck up am I?

Cricket's eyes ventured from Ami hidden under the blanket to Sarah to Emily. What to say? He sighed, ran a hand through his hair. "Oi my my..." he murmered, and walked silently out of the room to find someplace to crash. Someplace away from everyone else, lonely as it felt. There's a certain feeling that comes with a houseful of drama, and that's the want to be close to people...just not those people.

Who am i? Not Ayakashi, not totally Ami anymore. I close my eyes, feel tears. Mo curls up with me silently. Sarah slowly stands and walks over and sits on the edge of the couch, stroking my hair lightly. I want to forget. Get rid of this source of confusion, doubt, guilty...
She smiles sadly. "I cannot erase emotions, Ami."
I open my eyes and stare on ahead, not focused. "Why does it hurt, Sarah?"
"It's a heartache. It's tired, like when you get a headache."
I'm quiet. "I do not understand," i whisper, pulling the blanket over my head.

Milo saw a flicker of amusement flash across Sparrows eyes as she spoke to him. His grin widened "I try." The frustratuion persited, prodding at the back of his mind, but more arguing wouldn't be good for anybody.

I leaned back on the door frame and just concentrated on breathing. I looked up at him, and he was looking down at me. Both of us just kind of... breathing. Like screaming at each other had taken priority over oxygen.
