I have to give Sarah some credit. For her somewhat hard exterior, she has a heart. And if there's one thing that defines Sarah Rivers, it's that she's persistent.
She started to march right over there.
"Look, you two, I don't give a damn who you are, but you're leaving right now. You've got ten seconds before you're both on fire. One, two, nine..."
I struggled to get up. I felt pretty darn helpless.

Red Wing took his tranquilizer without a word and shot at her, a few times. He still held Cricket against the wall.

Sarah, for her somewhat hard exterior, couldn't keep the tip of a tranquilizer from penetrating her skin.
"Ah...shit." Her eyelids fluttered shut and she slumped to the ground, unconcious.
With what little energy I had, I used the wind to pull her over towards me. I felt so weak, and with The Mana Type out for the count, things weren't looking good. On the bright side, these weren't Sybek. If things got really bad, we could always shift away.
Ah, damn, the Sybek! There were still Sybek on this plane!

Vines tangle up my legs. I'm confused for a moment until i see Eere up. I teleport away, growling at her. "Up so soon?"
"Sorry for the inconvenience, poisons and chemicals don't affect me as much as they should anymore." She turns on Red Wing, tying up his leg. "Let him go!"

"Aye, let 'im go!" Cricket echoed, to the reward of being hit across his jaw, smearing the crimson line drawn on his face. Red Wing's gun clicked and he pressed it against his chest, fighting the pull of the vines. "Dare try it."

I tense with anger. "You're in for a load of hurt you idiot!" The vines snake inside his open wounds, spreading an acid like poison. I go forward to get to Cricket but Wisp is there the next moment, her smile like Ayakashi's.

((We shall see, we shall see ;D)) Cricket didn't feel anything. Just a numbness. Jess was yelling for some reason. Red Wing was grinning like a cheshire cat. Then something happened, there was fire...it was burning a hole in his chest. Why did it hurt so bad? He gasped, squeezed his eyes shut as Red Wing let him go and he slid to the ground. The fire grew and he looked down, and there was red. Why? Then he had a thought. He was going to die.

I back up a step from Wisp, afraid. /Sarah. Sarah, can you hear me?/
"No one hurts my superior, girly," she whispers to me, raising her gun again and shooting another tranq dart. I fall to my knees, look up as Wisp goes back to Cricket. My control on the plants slackens then disappears.
"I still want to hear you scream," she says, picking him up and slamming him against the wall.
