Feral (What happened to the humans?)

Petey: "Hi, I'm Petey," I said in a slightly high-pitched voice.

Seraphine:
"Seraphine."

Petey: "You're p-pretty," I said.

Seraphine:
"Thanks, kid." I say.

Petey: I looked around now, embarrassed.

(Don't be offended or anything. Seraphine calls everyone 'kid.')

Ai
Well, this was interesting. I run a hand through my hair, feel at the feathers in it. "Ai," i introduce myself.
Tare sits up again, his ears pricking as he studies the other cat. "Tare," he says.

(not offended, he's just shy.)

Petey: I waved, thinking that there were a lot of cats here. "Hi," I said again.

Seraphine:
I nod slightly in their direction by way of greeting.

Petey: "What are you guys doing?" I asked.

((I'm strugging to imagine a four-year-old that looks fifteen and is 4'11''...and failing... xD))

"I'm Tabitha, but call me Tab," I said, waving a wing in greeting. "And we're not doing much. Killed and ate some mice."

Petey: I nodded. "Oh," I said.

Seraphine:
"Mice are... Interesting to catch."

Petey: "I don't eat mice."

Seraphine:
"What do you eat?"

Petey: "Fish."

Tab
"Makes sense," I said with a shrug. "The kid's a penguin, after all."

Petey: I blushed. "Yeah, I am."

Seraphine:
I shrug. "Yeah."

Petey: "Do you all eat mice?"

Seraphine:
"I eat what I can get."

((Oh, Jelsa, you know that animals don't shift until they hit puberty, right? It was in the story. So Petey's gonna be stuck as a penguin for a long while, lol.))

"Well, I'm a hawk, as you can see," I replied, holding my wings out. "So yeah."

Petey: "Yeah, I see."

Seraphine:
"Speaking of food, it's about lunchtime now. I'm going to go find some food."
