The Summer that changed my life forever...

Dakota: "Oh yeah, I forgot." I went back and got the Dakota bear box. "Couldn't forget that."

Brok: I laughed. "Yeah. And Brok bear can stay at your house."

Dakota: "Well, duh." I rolled my eyes as we left. "You're going to take Dakota bear hiking?"

Brok: "I'll find somewhere for her to stay while we hike, don't worry."

Dakota: "Good, because if you lose her I'll cry. Well, not really."

(Yupperness. xD.)

Brok: I laughed. "I will not lose her. I can't buy her back."

Dakota: "Nope. You'd have to come back and get a new Dakota bear. But it wouldn't be the same, she would be like... a clone."

(Idk.)

Brok: I nodded. "Exactly. So I'm not losing Dakota bear."

Dakota: "Or your Dakota Person. Unless you abandon me in the woods on the mountain."

Brok: I laughed. "I couldn't do that to you."

Dakota: "well I'd hope not." I laughed.

Brok: I laughed and squeezed her hand. "I'm not leaving you behind, trust me. Even if we were just friends."

Dakota: But we're not. And he /is/ leaving me behind. Kind of. I swung our hands as we walked, not really saying anything. It wasn't an awkward silence, though.

Brok: I rubbed her hand with my thumb as we neared the park. "We're almost there."

Dakota: "Great." I smiled as we came to the park.

Brok: I walked into the center. "Dakota bear can wait here."

Dakota: "She'll be lonely. At least she has her house." Weird how the real Dakota - me - was just like that. Hardly much of a family, but a house.

Brok: I laughed. "I'll take her home soon. Don't worry."

Dakota: "Good. Can we hike now?"

Brok: I nodded. "Yeah. Let me grab some water from the back and then we'll go."

Dakota: "Mmkay, good idea."

Brok: I returned with three water bottles. "Alright, let's go!"

Dakota: We set off up the mountain.

(it's a trail, not a mountain, sorry x_x)

Brok: "I hope we don't get lost."
