I hopped out of his arms and my feet hit the floor with a thump. I twisted my hand around the knob . . .
"Locked," I say, barely loud enough for him to hear.
I look behind me, at the ring of fire that has spread, spread so far it's feet away from us, roaring with flames. One licks my foot, and I jump to press against the door. How did it spread so fast?
"We need a key!"

::Flay::
I had no weapon, and no other choice. I took his hand for the cameras and ran forward with him, the clone of Cato (I knew from the other Games) just missing us. I break a sweat in the heat of a fire nearby, and see a tunnel.
"Look, that will lead us! Just-"
Shit! A whole troop of Glimmer-wolves and Cato-birds are springing around us.
I don't have a weapon!
"Sponsors, sponsors, I need a weapon! To save us both!"
In moments like this they are super expensive. I look up. I'm obviously not likeable enough or I've just got bad sponsors, because nothing falls.
"Conor, what do we do?!"

Conor:
"Um... run like hell?" I suggest shrugging. Sounded good to me anyway. I held my sword and I slashed and cut everything I could. Then I remembered I still had Flay's dagger, "here" I say tossing it to her "its not much but its better than nothing"

Riku:
A blinding pain flashes through my body. I scream, my hammer falls and lands next to Nikkie. I look down and see what looks like a scorpion's tail through my back. I turn to see a giant scorpion with the head of Cato, District 1's last tribute. I grunt, grab my hammer, I knew I would die now but maybe my last few seconds I could help Nikkie along the way. I stand break the tail off with a swift hammer blow and stumble forward. With all my strength I crush the Cato, scorpians head, and it dies. I then stumble back to Nikkie, I push my precious hammer into her arms, "Take it..." I whisper weakly, "go and win these games" Then, blakcness, death envelopes me and I am gone.

Alex: I crashed into the wall on accident, not noticing the door hadn't turned. I groaned and took a look around. "Where would people put keys?" I saw something glittering on the ceiling and frowned. "Is that it? It looks like something's up there."

(Cato was from District two.)
(noooooo Riku! )

Nikkie: It all happened so fast. He was standing next to me one moment, and he was gone the next. I didn't want to leave him, although I clutched the hammer for dear life, glad someone had shown me kindness in this arena of death. Now, I was very alone. I spent a moment to kneel by his side for a moment and silently thank him for what he'd done.

(I kind of need Bonez to reply to know what happens to Riku, cuz apparently she said that they don't really die)

(Yeah, I know. I also need Bones before Luke can get to the entrance because I don't know how to get in and Des and Alex are trapped together right now.)

(lol we all need bonez Conor needs bonez to help fight the Cato birds and Glimmer wolves and I am saying Cato is my bro! IT WAS A CONSPIRACY CATO IS REALLY FROM 1!)

I smiled graciously, and truly. I really didn't mind this Conor anymore.
I reached over, time to kick some bird-lizard-clone ass. I found myself spinning, and made slashing their throats and staking their foreheads an art. I began to sort of dance to the rhythm of cackling fire nearby, and my knife started to leave patterns with blood on the different clones. We were making great progress, and few remained. I really hammed it up for the sponsors, my face showing delight at the killings and really dancing as I killed. This would get us a lot of favoritism, as long as Conor reacted as he should.

::Desomda::
"Maybe let me stand on your shoulders. We need to hurry . . . I'm scared."
I stretch my arms up waiting for him to lift me. My stomach is flopping and the heat is making me feel dirty and sweaty. I just want to get inside, and if not, die quickly and painlessly. And I hope Alex survives longer than me.

Conor:
I hack and slash mmy back pressed against Flay's. "Well, this seems like our first real date!" I say jokingly trying to ease the tension. We were going to be the last two alive and she would be the one to kill me and she would survive I really cared for her.

(Also Bonez Riku is dead, now what happens to him?)

Ah, another dead tribute. The camera focused on a dead tribute named Riku beeps red, automatically signaling a transportation from the arena to another healing facility. The dead tributes this year were in for a very big surprise when they awoke. I grinned, and clicked a few controls, slipping on a head-set directed to the speakers all over a healing centre.
"Attention all healers. A new tribute has been transported into your emergency rooms. Give him the life-syrup and report back to me when he is in good health, I would like to talk with him."

::Flay::
"Hmm, not bad. I mean, it involves killing and adrenaline. Just my thing. But, you know how some girls have that rule about kissing on first dates?"
I turn, eyes floating from all the dead clones to Conor.
"I'm one of them," I laugh, "you'll have to wait."
I poke his nose flirtatiously, and can almost feel the audience going, Aww! How cute!
"Looks like the tunnel entrance is clear now, we have to move."

Alex: I allowed Des to get on my shoulders, then straightened quickly, pressing myself into the wall to avoid the flames. "Do you see anything?" I practically yelled to her, knowing I had to be heard over the roar.

Nikkie: When Riku's body was gone, I finally decided that I had to keep going and continued to walk around, not really sure what I was doing. The hammer felt really heavy in my hands. How did I use it? I really had no idea.

Conor:
"Aw, not even a little kiss?" I ask grinning, actually hoping she would kiss me. I cursed myself for liking her. "Oh alright," I say, "Lets get down below" I say moving off in that direction.

Riku:
My eyes flutter open. Umm... aren't I dead? I think trying to figure out what is going on. I sit up and look around. "Where am I?" I say.

If I leave this moment hanging, the sponsors will hate us.
"Maybe . . . Maybe yes."
I reach out to lightly grab his shoulder, stepping in front of him. Unease swirled in my stomach and I stood on my toes.
"As long as . . . You're alright with it."
I paused to make the audience hang on their seats.

::Desmonda::
"Mhm!" I reached out to try and grab it, my fingers brushing the tiny metal key.
I grunted, and pulled it down. The metal was cool in my burned fingers.
"Got it!"
I jumped off his shoulders and held it out in my palm, grinning.
"You put it in the lock, Alex. I'm scared."
