What Is Left After?

Jelsa: "Who wants to start?"

(Dinner. BRB)

Aimery: "Not me," I mutter, making my way to the head of the pack.

(kk.)

Wayne: "I spy something green!"

(Back)

Joseph: I raise an eyebrow. "There's not a lot of green here."

Wayne: "Keep looking!"

Joseph: I give him a look. "So now I'm playing?"

Wayne: "If you want to."

Joseph: I let out a breath, my gaze scanning the horizon. "I don't know, I'm too tired," I finally say.

Jelsa: "Fine, don't play. Are we almost there?"

Aimery: I glance up. "I hope so. It's getting dark."

Joseph: I shoot her a look. "Well, I think we've walked far enough," I say as we approach a dozen skeleton buildings. "And this here is the one we'll be in." I point at a tall one.

Jelsa: "Cool, we're here!"

Wayne: "Finally."

Aimery: "Would've been faster if you weren't playing I Spy," I snap at him, wrenching open the closet door and skipping in.

Joseph: I open my mouth to tell her to be careful, but she's already gone.

Wayne: "Well..."

Jelsa: "Let's just go in."

Aimery: My eyes widen. It was almost in perfect condition, except for the annoying dust. "It's safe!" I called back to them. "At least, I hope."

Joseph: I shake my head and follow the rest in.

(kay.)

Jelsa: "It does look nice."

(And I changed my mind.)

Aimery: "Surprising, huh?" I ask, appearing out of nowhere. "I think I'll call the lobby. That way no one can get in, and no one can get out." My eyes twinkled mischieviously.

Joseph: "No, if anyone's getting the lobby, it's me. I suggest you all get rooms close to the ground, because I doubt the elevator still works. And sharing rooms wouldn't be too bad either."

(haha.)

Wayne: "Can I share with you, Joseph?"

Jelsa: "Guess Aimery and I are sharing."

Joseph: I grin. "If you want the lobby, I guess. Lemme check out the rooms first -- some hotels have amazing lobbies and terrible rooms."

Aimery: I raise an eyebrow. "It was a suggestion," I say, not wanting to be too mean. But I was a loner. I wasn't scared of the dark, and I certainly didn't need a roomie.

Jelsa: "I won't be annoying. I don't snore or anything..."

Aimery: I shrug, walking slow enough so that she could follow me to the rooms. "It's not that. I just don't like people in general. Do you know that if someone suddenly broke in, I'd have to protect you too?"

Jelsa: "I could hide..."

Aimery: I smirk. "You know, if you want to room with me so bad, I guess it couldn't hurt." I push open another door and promptly shut it. "Let's find something closer to the lobby anyway.

Joseph: I throw my bag on a couch, glancing at Wayne. "No family, hmm?"

Jelsa: I laughed. "Okay. Let's see."

Wayne: I shook my head. "Nah."

Aimery: I open another door. "This one?"

Joseph: "That's depressing. I heard Aimery left her family. Which is even more depressing, but you know. Teenagers out alone. They'd leave their families in an instant."

Jelsa: "I guess, as long as it's clean."

Wayne: I shrugged. "My family left me, not the other way around. But...is that why she's so bitter?"
