Marley: *glances over at Dorian, who is knocked out from electricity* "IT's a good thing for you that he's not awake, mate"

Rose: "Red guy got him drunk!" *glares at Grell*

Grell: "I was just trying to give him energy!"

Marley: "Oooh... bad idea... he's a MEAN drunk" *flinches* "Good thing he's asleep"

Andrew: Who that?*points to grell*
Ezra: *sighs* A reaper...
Liz: *to grell* You look familar....have we met?

Ami: *Whistles the Whistling Song* *flinches*

Wisp: "She can't create silly. Like I can't help."
Ami: *purses her lips annoyed*

Cricket: "Aye, I remember. That's tough." *slides down a wall, fiddling with his knife*

Ami: *grumbles* "You're telling me..."

Cricket: "Aye, I know, I know, I wouldn't know, would I?" *rests his head against the wall, shaking his hair in his eyes* "If I could do something, I would."

Wisp seems to beg to differ, crossing her arms and snubbing him annoyed. I give a small smile to her and shake my head. She glances back at me frowning. "I know, I know," she says, wrinkling her nose like she had tasted something sour.

Cricket glanced at Wisp through his hair. "Doubt me if you want to. But I'm not lying."

Ami
I sigh, running a hand through my curls. "Play nicely, you two."
"Yes, yes," she mutters, sitting with me and leaning on my shoulder. I put a soft arm around her shoulders.

"I didn't say...much." Cricket showed a hint of a smile, whistling to himself, what a group. He studied his knife. It was a new one. His old, favorite one had been lost at god-knows-when during some adventure. Lots of memories, with that knife, lost right with it. Somehow, that didn't seem all that terrible.

Ami
Right... "Just chill, alright? I'm sure she doesn't even know what a..." I search for some random thing that I had no clue about. "...a cat is."
She blinks, her eyebrows drawing together annoyed that I was right. "A /what/?"

"Cat. Y'know, little furry thing with a tail and whiskers," Cricket said, looking at her curiously. The little black cat that he'd been seeing more and more often flashed into his vision. He shook his head as if clearing his thoughts and looked away. "By th' way, Wisp, your soul's a ferret."

Wisp
"What the hell is a ferret?" I blurt out, feeling stupid. I look back at Ami, my eyes narrowed. "Is he insulting me?"
"No," she answers evenly, looking down at me kindly.

"Slinky little animal, beady eyes. Some people keep 'em as pets. Ferret," Cricket explained, feeling like a walking encyclopedia. Which wasn't a bad thing; ever since he'd met Annaleah, every other word or allusion had to be explained to him. It was nice to have it the other way around. Not bad for a guy who can't read, he thought.

Ami
She sighs frustrated and I smile. "Don't worry, it gets better."
"Really?" She snaps quietly, her crossed arms tightening.
"Really," i say. "Just...don't ask anyone to explain religion. I still don't get that one."

"Hah! Who does?" Cricket grinned.

Ami
Wisp looks between us blankly before giggling. I smile, understanding the feeling. Someone else being confused about something for once. It's a nice feeling.

Cricket's grin faded down to a lopsided smirk. "But, of course I wouldn't know; th' only time I've been in a church was once when I was robbing it. And th' bell tower, if that counts, but it 'asn't been used as a church in ages."

Ami
"Well that beats me," I point out. "Not even once, though Kim says it's boring. Emily's a..." I pause, trying to remember. "A Jehovah's Witness, so she doesn't go to church even."
"Beats both of us," Wisp says, ignoring our terms that she would also have no knowledge of.

Cricket was about to say something, but sudden gunfire made him wince. He looked up to see Red Wing striding in with his darting eyes cold. A gun glinted by his side. "Isn't this cute?" Cricket slowly rose to his feet as Red Wing walked to the two girls. "Good morning, Sleeping Beauty. Ready to behave?" He cocked his gun at Ami.
