Brok: I groaned. "Remind me to never make you mad."

(D: yeah!! Another blonde chick, that she mistakes for the same one?)

Dakota: "Or to ever break up with me. Though it'll happen eventually, I guess." I frowned slightly, then shrugged it off.

Brok: I frowned. "What makes you think we'll ever break up?"

(okay, I'll make her when we need her)

Dakota: "Well, it's not like we're going to ... get married or something. Sorry, veering towards an awkward conversation there. Um...let's talk about the weather? It's nice out today...."

Brok: I chuckled. "You're the one making this weird, not me."

Dakota: "How am I making it weird? I'm just saying...."

Brok: "Let's just not think about it, k?"

Dakota: "Okay," I said kind of quietly. "Pay for the kite."

Brok: I paid and took her hand again. "Let's go."

Dakota: I nodded and followed him out.

Brok: "Excited?"

Dakota: I shrugged.

Brok: I tickled her. "Come on, perk up."

Dakota: I squirmed away. "I don't feel like it."

Brok: I sighed. "Kota...."

Dakota: "What?"

Brok: "Are you still mad?" I asked.

Dakota: "I was never mad...?"

Brok: I sighed. "Good. Now cheer up. You're with me. I'm back. Be happy!"

Dakota: I rolled my eyes and stared at the pavement as we walked.

Brok: I leaned in and kissed her. "Man, you're beautiful even when you're annoyed."

Dakota: I smiled at the compliment, but then dropped it and I pulled away from the kiss. "You can't say something like that just because you want me to quit being annoyed..." Even if it was working.

Brok: "I'd say it even if you weren't...wait...that wouldn't work," I said, frowning.

Dakota: "Yeah, it wouldn't." I rolled my eyes again.
