Dakota: I nodded, trying not to break the fake excitement.

Brok: "We're here. Okay, how do we fly a kite?"

Dakota: I shrugged. "I think you unwind the string, then hold onto the end and run."

Brok: I frowned. "How about you try first?"

Dakota: "Okay." I took the kite and unwound the string so I could hold it and it was in the sky..."I'm not in the mood to run and frolic happily." I had to hold back a smile, even though it was true.

Brok: I laughed. "I'll frolic and play after you do, how's that?"

Dakota: I sighed. "Why don't you frolic with the blonde girl," I mumbled.

Brok: I frowned. "What are you talking about?"

Dakota: I bit my lip. He said there was nothing going on with her, why did I keep thinking about it? "I feel sick...I think I'm going to go home," I lied.

Brok: I sighed. "Alright. Can we meet up tomorrow?"

Dakota: "Do we have to?"

Brok: I sighed. "Don't you want to?"

Dakota: I looked at my shoes. "I...I don't know."

Brok: "Do you want to just call me tomorrow, maybe?" I suggested.

Brok: I nodded. "Alright. Can I kiss you before you go?"

(-punches Bethany harder than Jelsa-)

Dakota: I hesitated. "...I guess."

(for a second i thought you were punching both of us lol)

Brok: I grinned. "At least it's not a no," I said, leaning in quickly and giving her a quick kiss, not sure if I should try anything else.

Dakota: I frowned after the kiss, still. I turned to walk away. "Bye."

Brok: "Bye, Kota," I said, suddenly really tired and really irritated. Stupid girl. I would make sure Kent sued her.

(annie told everyone that I liked will x.x and then she denied it, even though only two people knew and I know for SURE that the other person would never tell a soul)

Dakota: I walked until I was out of Brok's sight, then ran the rest of the way home. When I got there I ran up the stairs, went into my room, and screamed into my pillow. I wasn't sad, I didn't want to cry, I just was confused and needed to scream like that.

(! when was this?! you shoulda told me! and I thought he knew anyway!)

Brok: I really felt like punching something, so I went back to the center and banged like crazy on the drums.

(Umm I just found out how many people knew...like...Friday? SORRY!!!
And he knew, but I didn't want the whole school to know!)

Dakota: I spent the rest of the day drowning out my thoughts by listening to music.

Brok: I really didn't know what to do now. Should I text her?
