Brok: I grinned. "Awesome," I said. "Wait. What if I lose it?"

Dakota: "Then I won't trust you anymore...."

Brok: "I lose everything."

Dakota: I shrugged. "Don't lose /that/."

Brok: "How am I not gonna lose it?"

Dakota: "I don't know. You could just not take it to begin with."

Brok: "Do you want me to take it or not? I do have an idea for how to not lose it."

Dakota: "I want you to, but only if you think you won't lose it. Sam managed not to lose it after...I don't know, probably a year now."

Brok: "That doesn't mean I love you less than he does."

Dakota: "I never said it meant that." I gave Brok an odd look.

Brok: "Fine," I said. "Maybe I'll put it on a necklace."

Dakota: I wrinkled my nose. "That's really gay. But if it'll keep you from losing it, whatever."

Brok: I groaned. "Do you still think I'm gay?"

Dakota: I paused. "No," I said slowly and unconvincingly.

Brok: I grinned. "Well, that's good to hear."

Dakota: "Mmhmm."

(he should bring up the honeymoon phase thing, or do something semi-dramatic to make sure the honeymoon-end thing doesn't happen)

Brok: "That's a good idea..." I tucked it underneath my sock.
