GL:
"Um... Yeah, see ya!"

Dan:
"Hey you guys are from Young Justice right?"

Emily
"Right. From back east..." I make a gesture to the right. Right, where else is Young Justice....

Robin
I smirk, ready for anything. My first time out with Bats after months of training, and as I run behind him down the corridor it doesn't seem as bad as he had put it. Maybe I was just caught up in the moment. I guess chasing after the Joker might do that. But then there was a flash of black, white, and caramel from the corner of my eye. I slow to a stop, looking back at the door I had seen it from as Batman goes on ahead. A hostage?

Spades
My chuckle echoed through the room as I spotted the boy trailing behind the Bat. He was about my age, and dressed in bright colors. I stopped running for a second, pausing behind a curtain, to look at the gun in my hands. Was I supposed to shoot him? The Joker had told me to eliminate Batsy's new sidekick... but... I don't know, there was something in his blue eyes that made him look so genuinely /good/.

Robin
I hesitantly travel back to the door frame, ready in case of guns like Bats had told me. "Hello?" I step in , searching the room carefully.

Spades
I watched him closely, my hand holding the gun shaking slightly as I bit my lip. Then I hid my gun in my belt, and emerged, faking a scared look "H-hello?"

Robin
I turn around, seeing a girl. Wild caramel curls, a mask, and a uniform. I don't remember any other sidekick looking like her... "Who are you?"

Spades
I looked around, forming a plan. Then I glanced back at him, my eyes fake scared again "I-I just... I don't know, I was... I was messing around with a hero uniform my mum made me, and next thing I know... there's a clown, and.. .and..." I looked to be fighting back tears

Robin
I blink a moment. "It's alright. Batman's after the Joker. What's your name?" I ask, taking a small step towards her but still cautious.

Spades
C'mon, just a little closer... if I shot my gun, I couldn't afford to miss. "Elizabeth... Cole. You can call me Beth, though" I sniffled

Robin
"Beth. I'm Robin." I give her a small smile. "I can get you out of here. It's just this way." I glance back at the door, but back at her quickly. I wonder what happened to Batman, if he caught the Joker yet.

Spades
I hesitantly returned his smile, brushing some hair out of my face in a fake show of shyness mixed with still lingering fear. "B-but if I leave..." my face dropped as I pulled up a sleeve, showing my scars along with an array of dark bruises "He'll hurt me again"

Robin
I shake my head. "I won't let anyone hurt you. We'll get you to Commissioner Gordon, and he can get you back to your mom." I took one more hesitant step closer, trying to meet her eyes. "That sound good?"

Spades
"He killed my mom..." My eyes went distant, for real this time. Just one more step, then I'd pull out my gun

Robin
"We'll keep you safe, Beth..." I say softly, taking another step and offering her my hand. "Let's go, kay?"

Spades
Then I pressed the cool barrel of the gun to his forehead, guilt flashing in my eyes for half a second before they drained of all emotion... except for a slight insanity... "Get on your knees, new kid. I'm surprised the Bat didn't tell you about me, but all the more fun, I suppose"

Robin
I freeze, not letting my fear show. Just as emotionless as her. "Alright..." I move to kneel, but instead move my head away quickly, knocking her hand away at the same time, and tackling her knees.

Spades
I dropped my gun as I fell to my knees. Then I looked up at him, tilting my head to the side "Batsy trained you well, didn't he?" I giggled, like a little child. Then I grabbed Robin's leg and jerked it out from under him, and climbed on top of him to pin his arms. "Do you think I'm crazy?" I asked with a grin, my face just a few inches from his, my eyes fixed on his blue ones

Robin
"I think you have a pretty messed up role model," i mutter, glaring into her green fire eyes. I roll to the side to get her off me, jumping up to stand, and making sure to kick the gun away. "But you? Confused, maybe."

Spades
Just as I was about to ask what he meant by that, I saw retreating movement out of the corner of my eye. The Joker was escaping "That's my cue to leave" I said, and started running for the exit

Robin:
I frown, getting up quickly and going after her. "No it's not!" Who the heck was this girl...obviously she's with the Joker but...but a sidekick? Joker didn't seem the type!

Dan:
"Cool, is there any possibility that we could get you guys' number? We might need help in the future" I ask

Stella:
"Mhmm, might is the key word there!"

Emily
"JLA," i say quickly, still feeling on the fritz talking to some big ass wolves with a sort of...humorous side to them... "They'll send us alerts if we're needed."

Dan:
I shrug, "Actually I didn't care for you guys' number can we join Young Justice?"

Stella:
"Wait what? Dan can I talk to you?" I ask through my teeth.
"Later" he says.
"No, now!" I bark and grab him by his ear and drag him over away and commence to rant at him for asking that he looks like a scolded puppy but stands by his decision to ask.
