Exerton Academy

Brad heard someone fall behind him and turned to face them. He went to help them out and smiled when he saw the shopping bag. "Did you go to the book store for the meet and greet or just to shop?" he inquired as he helped her gather her books and other belongings.

"A little bit of both," Riley said, showing him the signed book in her bag and then putting it back. She brushed off her knees and hands and the looked at him thoughtfully. "Do... Do you go to Exerton by any chance?" She asked.

Brad smiled as he saw the book and got to his feet and offered her his hand to help her up. "Yes. A couple of my friends and I decided to take an unscheduled field trip." He laughed lightly and kept his smile on his face.

Riley's eyes lit up a little as she took his hand to lift herself. She pulled her hair over her shoulders and paused. "Can i join you guys?" She asked. "I mean... I go to Exterton, too."

Brad pulled her to her feet and smiled to her. "I dont think the others would mind if you tagged along. As long as you dont turn us in. And even so, we have a get out of jail free card." now to find the others. Brad looked around and tought for a couple seconds. "Finding them might be interesting."

"Turn you in for what? I'm skipping, too," Riley said, adjusting the shoulder of her shirt. It hung off her pale shoulders, letting the sun kiss them with light. "And i'm up for an adventure."

Brad nodded to what she said. "Very true. I think one of them said something about the new bar that was opening up. We might want to check there."

Riley nodded. "My father is the owner," she said, her tone a mix of fact and sheepishness. "C'mon," she said, skipping ahead. "I know exactly where it is."

Brad smiled widely as she skipped ahead. "Right behind you." He followed after her a smile wide on his face.

Riley bounded ahead and then slowed, waiting for him to keep up. She knew the bar was only a few blocks away and her aunt would let them in if she promised not to do anthing stupid.

Brad kept her pace easily, his long legs carrying him fast. "How do you plan to get into the bar?" He asked her, coming up on her left.

"My aunt is filling my dads place while he's out of town and I know she'll let me in without a question," Riley said with a small smile. "Oh... By the way, I'm Riley."

Brad smiled as she said her father was out of town. "Bradford, but everyone calls me brad." No one had called him bradford since his moms death.

"I like your name," Riley said, batting her eyelashes slightly. "It's cool. We're almost here," she said, nodding ahead.

Naomi: I finished my martini and sat back in my seat, wondering if I should get another drink.

Perfectly content with the wine, I glance over at Naomi for a moment with a warning look. I've /told/ her how she gets when she's drunk... I never understand why she still wants to drink heavily every time alcohol is available though....

Brad saw the others inside the bar up ahead. "Cool, lets head in." He offered, smiling over to the girl.

Naomi: I looked at Ally and met her eyes and got the message and didn't order another drink.

Matt finished his Bloody Mary, slightly feeling its effects already.

Naomi: "What do you guys want to do now?"

Matt looked up at the clock, noting the time. "Well, it's still early..." he murmured. "Not sure."

Naomi: "Oh, well I'm going to go to the bathroom, maybe we can think of something after..." I suggested and started to get up.

How can Oliver come in?

Riley nodded her head, slipping to the bar and spotting the only teenagers in the room. "That's them, yeah?" She asked, jerking her chin toward them, looking at their drinks. She sighed. The new bar tender they hired would have to be to\aught to check every i.d.

Brad laughed lightly and nodded. "Yup. Looks like they got a couple drinks." He sighed and shook his head. 'Idiots', he added in his mind.

Naomi: I came back and sat down, ordering a water.
