Naomi: I followed Matt's eyes and turn back to him with a suggestion. "If you're need something strong go with whiskey." I knew that that particular alcohol gave you quite a buzz, having lots of experience with the hard liquor and often times preferring it.

Matt looked over at Naomi now, making a face. "Whiskey is for later on tonight....I just need a..." He thought about it for a moment. "I need a starter drink."

Naomi: I shrugged. "It was just a suggestion." I said and put my hands up in surrender. I had changed my mind and decided to get a drink, so I ordered a martini.

Lockie: I sat at a table in the bar, with a group of guys. I had come alone, and intended to sit at the bar itself, but then they'd started talking to me. To be honest, I loved the attention, even if some of them were a little touchy-feely.

Ally
"Just know I'm not babysitting if anyone gets too tipsy," i say pointedly. Crossing my arms, i think a moment. "I suggest an early year wine if you don't want to get too drunk yet."

Naomi: I looked at Ally and smiled at her comment as I sipped my martini.

Mitch: I sat in one of the school's courtyards on a bench. My eyes were closed, and I could almost look like I was asleep, if I weren't tapping along to the song I was listening to through my earbuds.

Matt nodded at the bartender and pointed to Ally. "Gimme what she said." When he did, he sighed in relief and took a drink.

Lockie: I went up to the bar to get another beer. I didn't do wine or whiskey, I would drink any beer, though. Even Pabst Blue Ribbon, the cheapest, nastiest stuff around. I glanced at the people at the bar, and noticed a few familiar faces. My eyes narrowed slightly. "Hey, don't you go to..." I lowered my voice, since they were trying to get away with drinking. "Exerton?"

Laney sighed and ran her fingers through her hair as she walked through the courtyard. She was muttering to herself, not really paying attention to where she was going.

Matt looked over at the girl, his eyebrows raised. "Yes, and you are?"

Ally
I look over and smile, nodding. "Lockie, right? I think we had bio sophmore year together."

Naomi: I looked over a Lockie. "Hey, wanna join us?"

Matt looked between the girls, feeling utterly lost. "I'm confused," he muttered, taking a long drink.

Lockie: I looked to the girl who said she'd had a class with me. Ally, her name was Ally and people said she was bi. Um, to each their own?
"I think I remember you, maybe..."
I looked to the girl who had invited me to sit. "I actually already am sitting with some people..."
My eyes fell on the guy. He was kinda cute...too bad /he/ hadn't asked me to sit with them.

Naomi: "Oh, well nice to meet you, Lockie." I said with a smile.

Lockie: "Sorry, I didn't catch your name." I smiled at the girl, then glanced at the guy again. "Or yours...."

Matt smiled and offered the hand that wasn't holding his drink. "Matt Lawston."

Lawson*****

Naomi: I smiled. "Sorry, I'm Naomi Quaterson."

Lockie: My smile turned to a smirk and I shook his hand. "Like she said, I'm Lockie." I dropped his hand after an extra moment, then turned and grabbed my beer from the bartender. "And, oh, Naomi is a ... cool name." Sure.

Naomi: I smiled, but I couldn't quite tell how she actually felt about it.

Hey Kara... Can i join?

Ally
Yup, that awkwardness when it comes to me, i see it when she looks at me. She knows. Ah well, at least she's not making such a big deal about it. I look over at Naomi a moment questioningly, catching his tone as well.

Matt took another drink, making a face. Sighing, he looked up at the clock over the bar. "Well, it's five o'clock somewhere, right?" he asked, looking around the group.
