C. D. - character development

"Nope," Evan grinned.

"Why the Hell not?!" I demanded.
"Hey, wait a minute..." the angel started, looking down. Oh crap! Andrew had been hiding under Evan's hand! "There's a mortal soul down there!" the angel exclaimed. "A real, dead, mortal soul!"

"First off you're not touching him. Secondly, no fighting." said.Evan, still holding them.

"Oh, wait a second..." the angel started. "Wow, I'm dumb!"
"Yes you are," I said.
"Shut up!" she snapped back. "But why didn't I think of this?!" She covered her wings with a glamour; they fizzled out of existence, and she started falling. Why hadn't I thought of that, either?!
"Oh no you don't!" I yelled, doing the same.
We both re-removed our glamours at the last second, snapping our wings open and landing safely. We both leaped for Andrew, glaring at each other.

Evan shoved his hand between them and Andrew. Andrew scrambled to his feet and hid behind Evan.

"Evan, let me grab Andrew!" I called. "As long as I'm touching him, she can't take him!"
"Hey!" the angel called, trying to get around Evan. "Not fair! You're too big!"

"Fine," said Evan, holding out a hand for Leslie to climb on while blocking Aria with the other.

Tony stares in amazement. He has no idea what is happening. However, one thing he is certain of is that there is an angel in the fight, and two others ganging up on it. Tony isn't naturally religious, but he is quite certain as to where his feelings lie. he raises the assault rifle he carries with him and attempts to aim at the back of the black-winged creature. Having had no formal training and precious little practice, it does not occur to him that he will almost certainly miss.
Crack!
Crack-crack!
The rifle bucks and jerks in his hands as he fires.

One of the bullets hit Evan, he stared at the tiny droplet of blood on his hand. "That didn't hurt," he said in surprise.

For the first time, Tony sees Evan properly. His jaw goes slack, and his arms go limp. The gun bumps against his stomach. The last time he saw anything this size, it was made of metal and trying to kill him with lasers.
"Wha...?"

"Don't ask," said Evan, shaking his head.

Tony shakes his head to get rid of the mirage, but when he looks up again, the giant is still there.
"Who... What are you?"

"I'm Evan...I'm not normally like this....there was a misshap."

"I can't imagine what you've done," murmurs Tony. "This is insane..."

"It was Ezra's fault...he tripped...and now I'm a giant."

"That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. He tripped and so now you're a giant?"

"He had a vial in his hand and it smashed on me and got into my system."

"Okay. So now there're magic potions? Makes as much sense as anything."

"Yup, but what's the rational explination for this?" said Evan.

"I have no idea..." Says Tony. "Probably quite similar to the rational explanation for the walking dead."

"Walking Dead?" grinned Andrew. "Am I close enough?"

Tony stares straight through Andrew. "Who said that?" he asks.

I clenched my teeth as a bullet grazed my arm.
"Watch it, mortal!" I snapped.
"Do that again!" the angel told the Mundane with the gun. "Shoot it again! Kill the demon!"

"Me. Andrew the ghost." Andrew grinned.

Evan held out his hand, "Climb on Leslie."

"Will do!" replies Tony. He levels the gun and attempts to shoot at the demon. His aim is so bad that he's more likely to hit the angel. He stops firing and frowns.
"A ghost? where are you standing now?"
