Just a Regular chat.

Faylinn: "He can't tell why a person values it. If he did i would have told you so. But if you don't want to you don't have to."
Annabel: "Yes. That's my job. That is, if she thinks of it."

Annaleah: "Alright. But I thought you said one of your friends can read minds." She thought, Testing, testing.

Faylinn: "Well?"
Annabel: "Darling you're being rude. Don't make her talk about something she doesn't want to."
Faylinn: "You going to make me a liar then?"
Annabel: She winced. The ghosts, under any circumstances, didn't like liars. "He's a part of some gang and he can't get out. Silly boy's going to get himself killed, in my opinion. She's worried about it too."
Faylinn: "Whose being rude now?" i whispered at her. She shot me a glare but it softened.
Annabel: "I suppose you're right."
Faylinn: I nodded. "He's a part of a gang. Annabel says you're worried about him getting killed in it."

"That's fairly accurate," she said, a little curious about who said what that was rude. She sighed. "He is going to get himself killed, I know it. Either that or I will, somehow. But, I suppose he's expected himself to die for a long time now."

Faylinn: "hmm...Annabel was being the rude one."
Annabel: "Only once. Stop accusing me now, silly."
Faylinn: i smiled at her childish tone. "Alright. I'm sorry." I pondered the 'Cricket's' predicament. "Then he should just get it over with," i said quite simply. "If he's ready then what's the point of waiting?"

Annaleah: "Well...I shouldn't answer for him. But I believe he's scared."

Faylinn: "Scared of death? Why? I never got people's fear of death. It's inevitable. You can't stop it. Why fight it?" I saw flashes of my parents and wondered what they looked like while i was murdering them. Were they scared as well? Probably. Their eleven year old daughter had just stabbed them with the kitchen knife, why wouldn't they be scared. But then the detectors said they didn't show any signs of resistance....it all confused me to no end...

Annaleah: She decided she wouldn't be leaving anytime soon and sat down a little ways away from Faylinn. "Maybe it hurts," she said. "I'm not sure about Cricket, but I wouldn't mind that part. I just don't like the thought of not living."

Moi: "Yup. She's scared alright."
Mr. Sam: "It really doesn't though."
Isabella: I laughed. "Speak for yourself. I had to deal with suffocation."
Annabel: "A gunshot wound. It wasn't so bad. It was somewhat peaceful actually. I had time to accept what was happening to me."
Moi: "Hmm...sounds boring..."
Faylinn: "You never did tell me what you died from Moi."
Moi: "I don't remember."
Faylinn: i shrugged. "There's mixed opinions about the subject."

Annaleah: She shrugged back. "I see."

(How am i supposed to respond to that...?)

Faylinn: I hummed a tune and then paused mid note. "I love the quiet of the nighttime, when the sun has drowned in the deathly sea.
I can feel my heart beating as I speed from the sense of time catching up with me.
The sky is set out like a pathway, but who decides which route we take?
As people drift into a dream world, I close my eyes and my hands shake.
And will I see a new day? Whose driving this anyway?
I picture my own grave.
This fear has got a hold of me. Yes, this fear has got a hold of me." I smiled at my made up poem. Poetic huh? I had to say, that description of me sort of startled me. Not a lot of people would call me 'poetic' on our first meeting.

(sorry, it was one of those moments that I didn't know what else to say )

Annaleah looked at Faylinn, intrigued. "You're a darker character. There's always a dead end somewhere, in whatever you say." She paused, then looked at Faylinn a little more excitedly. "You know, you would make a good book character." She couldn't help but add that, being a writer.

(that she is...that she is...)

faylinn: I cocked my head questioningly at her outburst. "Really? What might the end be like to you?" I always liked the end of books better. I would make Eric skip anything he read to read the last page. If i liked it, only then could he read the beginning and middle to me.

Annaleah: She thought. "Hmm. Well, I don't know yet. I don't know you enough to find out. But you seem so drawn to sad things...I'm afraid it might be a sad ending," she said, knowing that if she kept that part hidden Faylinn would find out anyway.

Moi: "Not fun."
Isabella: "Too pradictable."
Mr. Sam: "Yes, yes. The readers would have come to expect that sort of ending."
Annabel: "Besides, sad endings are so boring. They make the rest of the book a complete waste. What was the point of reading the entire thing just to be depressed at the end?"
Faylinn: I nodded at their comments. "They say that's too pradictable and wouldn't be any fun."

Annaleah: "Oh. Alright, then, what ending do you prefer?"

Faylinn: I thought about it. "A questionable one. The character decides something that came completely out of left field."

Annaleah: "Oh, I like it. Well, you're the character; what do you decide?"

Faylinn: I looked away ashamed. "I...don't know. I don't think i want to know." I looked up at everyone i could see, and then faced the people i couldn't. "I don't really want to change, but i don't want to stay there..."

(gtg after this one ) Annaleah: "That's a tough choice, friend," she said, "In real life I think you could only have one or the other. But, this is a story," she said with a smile.

Faylinn: "I don't want one or the other..." i said. I listened to myself. I sounded like a spoiled brat. "I don't want to give them up..." I pulled my knees in and hugged them. I tried to stay under control; i hated crying. The tears were slipping out though. "I don't want to be a murderer..."
At the word, a demon popped up. My friends backed away from it fearfully. My eyes flicked to it and it watched me with empty red eyes, shining like jewels. "Get away." My voice wavered as it took a step forward. "Go away..." I closed my eyes and ducked my head into my chest "Leave me alone, demon." I could still hear it coming though.

Annaleah: She could only imagine what Faylinn was seeing, and she wished she could help--but she could only watch the one-sided struggle. This was Faylinn's battle to fight.

Eric: "Fay? You okay?" She suddenly became very relaxed. "Fay, what is it?"
She ignored my questions. "Annaleah..." Her face was still hidden. "Have you ever tasted death before?" Her voice was far off. She said everything very even toned and slow, but there was a hint of a smile to her voice. She was enjoying this.
"Fay, what is it?" i asked again.
"Shut up," she told me. It was so low i almost thought i had imagined it. "I don't need you. Why? Why would i need you? I don't need anybody! I'm alone...it's the way i like it..." She started to sob. Her hands moved to cover her ears. "Make it stop...make the demon go away..."

Annaleah: Her heart beat a little faster when Faylinn spoke, and she started to stand. "Faylinn?" She asked, trying to be brave. She swallowed her fear and spoke again, this time stronger. "Faylinn. What is it? What do you see?"

Faylinn: "Mummy and Papa..." i whispered through the sobs. No i didn't, the demon did. Their faces flashed before my darkness.
"Let go....stop it!" i fought against the demon's hold.
"They're angry with me..." it made me say. "They were demons. That's why i killed them. They were evil, angry demons... I murdered them with the kitchen knife, in the living room." i laughed against the sobs. "Sounds like Clue...."
"Shut up!"
"Have you ever tasted death, Annaleah?" It made me ask again. "It's so sweet. So enjoyable. I'm sure Cricket would love it..." I looked up at her smiling in enjoyment, wide eyed with fear, tears streaking down my cheeks, and sobs racking my little body. "You might too." I started to stand, it made me start to stand. I heard her back away a step.
"H-help....make it go away..." I clamped my hands down on my ears again. It's voice was sickening to me. I didn't want to hear it anymore. "Go away..."
