Battle of the Bands Character Chat

Ben: "And I don't really /care/ "with you" anyway," I said coldly. her attitude bothered me, how she totally tried to act tough -- but I had seen her cry.

Lani: "Are you sure Jazzy won't want her food? And do you know where there's a beach?"

Timm: I smirked. "Most girls do."

(and my other boys are lonely again OoO)

(Did Lilly ever go through? She was supposed to be my weak girl)

(Idk. I don't think so. She can talk to Wayne tho )

(Okay. I'll write a start post and do her bio later, since my computer hates me)

Lilly: I was carrying a stack of music books through the backstage area, when I bumped into something and they all toppled over. I pushed my glasses up on my nose and didn't make eye contact with the guy. "So sorry...my fault..." I knelt to pick them up, figuring he'd walk away. I was the assistant, no one ever helped me.

Wayne: Someone crashed into me and dropped a bunch of stuff. Since I had nothing else to do, I stooped down and helped her pick some up. "I think you dropped these," I said.

Lilly: "Yes, I did. Thank ... you," I said slowly, taking the books carefully and restacking them on the ones I'd gathered.

Wayne: I smiled and held a hand out. "I'm Wayne."

Lilly: I looked up at him, confused. No one ever introduced themselves to me. Was this a prank? "I'm Lilly, assistant to Brick by Brick."

Wayne: I grinned. "Brick by Brick, huh? Interesting band name. I'm Wayne Edwards from Down 15th Street."

Lilly: "That's a nice name...I mean, the band name." I blushed. "Not your name, I wasn't trying to...well, I guess your name is nice, too, but I didn't..." I rambled.

Wayne: I laughed. "It's okay if you like my name. I like yours. Is it short for something?"

Lilly: "It's short for Lillian. But Ben told me that was a stupid name, so I shortened it." I bit my lip.

Wayne: I frowned. "Who's Ben? And I think Lillian is a pretty name too, for a pretty girl."

Lilly: I blushed. "Thank...you." I still wasn't used to having to say those words. "And Ben is the drummer for Brick by Brick, but he's kind of my boss. Not that I mind, he's usually pretty nice."

Wayne: I laughed. "I thought the guitarist was usually the boss. Our drummer actually doesn't say much."

Lilly: "Lani isn't bossy enough to be a boss, she's so sweet. And Ben likes to be in charge, so I don't know. They started the band, so I guess they get whatever positions they want."

Wayne: I nodded. "So you don't play an instrument?" I asked.

Lilly: I shook my head. "I'm not musically talented...at all."

Wayne: "You can't even sing?"

Lilly: "Well, maybe a little. But not very well."

Wayne: "Sing something for me."

Lilly: My eyes widened. "Please don't make me do that."

Wayne: "Come on. I bet it's not too bad."

Lilly: I pushed my glasses up on my nose and bit my lip. "Ben's probably looking for me, he probably needs some...assistance. Maybe later?" Not that I'd see him later, which was the whole point.
