Wayne: I sighed. "Fine. But can I have your number before you go?"

Lilly: My eyes grew to the size of saucers. "Why?" Was the first thing that popped out of my mouth. Boys didn't ask for my number, it didn't happen that way.

Wayne: "Maybe I want to talk to you again some time."

Lilly: "I don't actually have a cellphone," I admitted reluctantly. "I just have a Firefly for when Ben and Lani need me."

(if you don't know what a firefly is, it's a phone that is like...for emergencies, where parents program in numbers for their kids and stuff xD)

Wayne: I sighed. "Do you at least have a house number?"

Lilly: I nodded and told him what it was.

Wayne: I smiled. "Can I call you tomorrow?"

Lilly: "Is that how it works?"

Wayne: "How what works?"

Lilly: "I...don't know. Bye." I stepped around him to go find Ben.

Wayne: I sighed. She was being interesting. Well, I could call her tomorrow. Hopefully, we would be less awkward.

Lilly: I stood towards the back watching Toxic Chainsaws. I hated this music, it was too screamy. But I was hiding from Ben.
